Minemrys: It is well known that the Break even point of JL was $750M. So you see why JL that grossed $657M was a failure. But the Flash has a budget of $200M. Going with the 3X multiplier, the Flash will need $600M to gross even, so with a BO of $700M, the Flash will be a success. Heck even with the JL gross it will be a success howbeit such gross will be a medium grosser. Don't forget $700M is a high grosser, minimum high grosser according to industry rating. JL failed because the movie itself was bad. That's not the same case or issue with The Flash. Flash won't fail simply because of Ezra. The movie is way bigger than him. They're lots of other factors involve. All WBD needs to do is play their marketing game well and things will work out find. Funny enough, Flash just needs to gross just over $600M to be a success, but it will gross more than that. The Flash will gross a minimum of $700M. Watch out. #Xavier #DCian 1 Like

BlackManta: Ben Affleck: I will not be playing Batman anymore, it's time to hang up the cape. I'm done with big ip movies. Also Ben Affleck: Returns to play Batman in the Flash and Aquaman 2. Henry Cavill: I love Superman. The cape is still in my wardrobe. I want to keep playing Superman for many more years. BlackManta: I read it's Micheal Keaton's Batman that will be appearing in Aquaman 2. But sha all that will be dependent on if Aquaman 2 is set before the Flash or after the Flash. MODIFIED If Batfleck is appearing in Aquaman 2 and Keaton's Batman is appearing in Batgirl and Batgirl is set after the Flash, it means that Aquaman 2 just like Shazam 2 and Black Adam is set before the Flash. Also the fact that Aquaman 2 will be released before the Flash is also a testament to that. From the look of things, WB/DC are trying to connect Aquaman 2 to Flash, a pointer to a more cohesive universe post Flash. Reason why I tell people to wait after the reboot in Flash before they start throwing unnecessary complains and tantrums. #Xavier #DCian |

I don't really believe every reaction I see from a test screening But to be very honest, this is not the first time I'm hearing positive things about the Flash movie. Warner Bros at some point reportedly boasted that this is one of their best DC films yet...like seriously |

Aquaman 2 was originally intended to release after The flash, and Batfleck appears in Aquaman 2 I don't buy that The flash was moved forward solely due to VFX issues |

But with the directors at the helm of affairs, James Wan and Andy, likewise with the quality of movies DC have been dishing out of recent, I can say Aquaman 2 and The Flash will be amazing As for those Marvel movies, that one is an entirely different thing. We all know of recent, Marvel have been dishing out mediocrity when it comes to movies. It's their TV series that are good. That's why I'm not getting my hopes high for Wakanda Forever. Xavier5: Yes, but those movies' early reactions made them look like something out of this world....lol Also, we shouldn't forget that MCU is the gold standard that people at the DCEU top are dying to copy, except maybe WBD has concluded on abandoning that path... Even for DCEU, I'm only interested in Black Adam for now, and probably Aquaman (maybe because they kinda look serious and deconstructed). For Shazam, no no for me! |

SMUAG:Exactly. After watching The Boys, I have come to realize that most of the leaks or reactions prior to a movie release are usually a marketing scheme or PR. These days I no longer watch out for a movie, I only hear that it's out before I watch it. I don't even know when most films are coming out now and I was shocked to find out black panther and Adam were coming out this year. I didn't know the boys or Thor were out till people said it was lol. |

I believe WB has or had a plan for the DCEU after the the flash releases, but I believe that they aren't confident in that plan because if the flash movie fails to sell it to the fans, that would probably be the end of the DCEU. For me stuff like bringing back Keaton and not knowing what is going on with Superman, spells doom for whatever plans that they have. Affleck has shown time and time again that he is still willing to play Batman, if they needed an older Batman to play mentor to Batgirl, he fits the role, and is also good enough for any JL movie they plan to have going forward, having Keaton as the main Batman in a JL movie doesn't sound good to me. 1 Like |
