You guys seem to enjoy fighting Christians. I find it funny that the religion responsible for at least 9 out of 10 of the religious killings in Nigeria would call any other religion intolerant. We don't enjoy fighting the Christians or any other people for that matter. On the contrary, Christians have derided Islam and Muslims countless time. We hear it in your sermons, we read it in your Tracts, you show it in your behavior, and in your utterances.

It is true that some fights I. Nigeria has religious coloration but go find out most of the time who instigate or provoke such situations.

I agree with you that many a time a Muslim or some ill-inform ones among Muslims do over stepped their bounds but it is not enough to put everyone of them in the same basket and villlify them and their faith.

That said, when it comes to intolerance of each other, the Muslims is still more accommodating than the christians in Nigeria.

2. I have lived in the north and I can tell you that in many places up north, a Christian boy would face violence for dating a Muslim girl. In fact, in some places, you cant move with your Muslim girlfriend without getting a beating.

Christians do not kill Muslims for condemning their religion but Muslims would happily murder Christians for criticizing their beliefs.

1. In actual fact, there are no statistics. What we bandied about are just personal experiences. Like I said earlier, this incidents are just giving religious coloration to serve an agenda. People kill in Nigeria now like it is going out of fashion. Killing is everywhere but once it happens in the north, that religious tag is automatically affixed.

2. The North is predominantly a Muslim/Islamic terrain as such they are deeply conservative in their thinking. And "Dating" is frowned at in Islam. So, you dating and moving about with your Muslim girlfriend is out of it. The Shariah frowns at it and I am sure you know that there is Shariah Law in most part of the North.

3. You would probably be lynched if you go to Israel and tell gathering of Orthodox Jew that Jesus Christ is their Lord and Savior. You will probably be lynched if you deny that the Holocaust is a hoax in Israel and I am sure you will go to jail for denying the Holocaust in most European countries. What am I trying to say? Try as much as possible not to provoke a people in majority for the power to do and undo lies with them

1. For stats, just use our newspapers to find out how many times a Christian was beheaded or burnt by Muslims. Of course, killing is everywhere but I am talking about religious killings. Muslims are known to perform religious killings than any other religion.

2. The northerners practice Islamic law hence there lack of tolerance is based on Islamic teaches. Funny thing, they don't attack Muslim guys for dating Christian girls. The south east is also majority Christian yet you never hear that a Muslim was beaten up for dating a Christian girl.

3. The Holocaust has nothing to do with religion. And trust me when I tell you that Israel has more freedoms than any Islamic nation.
Jews do not lynch Christians in Israel. When Jerusalem was under but Israel and Jordanian rule, the Jewish part of the city was open to all while the Jordan part was open only to Muslims.
Israel is much more tolerant than any Muslim nation.

1. The Nigerian Press? I have never seen any other Press as irresponsible and sensational as they are. I don't read them and I don't rate them at least for now. Like I said earlier, we do have ill-informed and our own deviants who sometimes act and do bad stuff but I can tell you that they don't represent the whole. Every system/belief system have them. For instance, if an Hindu ultra catch you with beef meat in India, it is jungle justice straight. Do you know why? 2. Shari'a Law or any Law for that matter are applied based on evidence. Once there is a iron caste evidence against you, the Law will be applied. So, it is not as if Shari'a has made the Northerners intolerant on the contrary they are only applying the Law as spelt out in the ordinance. The unfortunate thing is that the Christians have no such Laws and only follow the Law of Nigeria as it were. But bear in mind that for the Muslims, the Shari'a supercedes the Nigerian Law as it an Eternal Law. So, you can see where the problem lies. It is a case of two parallels not meeting

3. The Holocaust was cited to show you what different people hold dear. And yes, Israel has more freedom than most Islamic Nation that is why LGBT can openly parade, same sex couple can live openly in the society. These and many other freedom abounds in Israel simply because Israel does not use the Laws of Jehovah or as they say God of Israel to govern or rule over them. Do you see the difference now? Islamic Countries/Society always have some semblance of. The Shari'a in their Codes while Europeans/Christians Soceiry don't. Muslims are not suppose to live "free" as the Christians think. 1.You are wrong about India, I have been there. India has one of the biggest Muslim population on earth. They eat their Salah rams and no one hurts them. There are penalties for killing cow not for eating meat.

2. I have nothing against the Shari'a Law. But when your religion forces it's laws on others, that is the definition of intolerance.
If the Muslims believes their law to be higher that the law of the land, why don't they try it in Europe and America? They can only try it in countries that excuse their violence. Backwards countries like Nigeria.

3. So just do you know, the separation of church from state was a deliberate action taken by American and European Christians and it has had a positive impact on the entire world. Thanks to the separation, a Muslim is the current Major of London. A Muslim has every right in Europe and America as a Christian.

1. And I say you are wrong about India! Please read my post again, perhaps you missed the part where I wrote "Hindu ultra". Just a number of them and before you know it, a mob will decsend on you. Search the internet and you will see dozens of such cases. If truly you once reside and not one passing thru o business, you will notice that Muslims in India stays in cluster: they stay together for protection as they are outnumbered 9-1 in India. Yes they eat their Sallah Ram but don't let an Hindu Ultra catch you!

2. The Shari'a Law is for Muslims ALONE. Check the Nigerian Constitution. But issues arises when The Shari'a says you can't consume Alcohol in the Public or should not be put on sale in an Islamic society what now happens to the Non-Muslims? As for Muslims in the U.S and Europe, they must follow the Laws of the Land they live in while at the same time observe the Sharia Codes in their dealings with each other. It would interest you to know that Europeans understand the Muslims needs and Sharia Compliant Codes are coming onboard. In food, Bankings, Health Care delivery, the Europeans are accommodating the Muslims with sharia compliant codes. A simple google search will show you more.

3. The Separation of the Church and the State in Europe was done to simply check the excesses of the then Church. Nothing more. Don't let us sugarcoat anything. And to let you know, what you call "Freedom" is what will eventually kill Europe. In the Kingdom of God, there is no freedom as you understand it. In that Kingdom, God's Will holds sway. And Divine Laws is what will be in place to achieve that.

And the violent Muslims are not a handful. for all we know, they could be in the majority. This is why Atiku was afraid of condemning Deborah's killers. He was afraid of losing the majority of Muslim votes and not a handful.
