Some of us predicted accurately that if APC won in 2015, that the Fulani empire consolidation would be total. Why I'm very surprised is that, apart from Ndigbo, no other ethnic group had this simple strategic insight. I remember warning a man and a woman from Southern Kaduna and Benue respectively, when they were campaigning for Buhari in 2014. I told that that a Buhari victory would spell doom for the Middlebelt. Incidentally, it goes well beyond the MB. I fore-see a repetition of what happened in 1966. If you have no idea of history, I have no intention of rehashing it.

Now the interesting aspect. I'm wondering if what I'm seeing among Nigerian tribes is exactly the sort of docility that the Afghans had that millions sat idly while a few bloodthirsty Jihadists grabbed power. For the Jihadists threatening FCT, I sure think that it's no longer a matter of if but when.

The good news for all our politicians is that they all have enough cash stashed away to escape at a moment's notice. That's if they've not started already. Those to suffer it would be the suffering masses. My advice to any Igbo and Southern minority still in the north is that, it is already getting late.
