The Man Tinubu

It seems to me that some people have come to accept the social media gossips against Bola Ahmed Tinubu. A little research can unearth the needed facts about this man. There is no need pouring invectives and scorn on a citizen whose notable "offences" are that he has the audacity to aspire to the highest office in the land even though he sprung out of "obscurity" and material poverty, and that he has been so successful in mentoring great men that he himself has become an institution without the need of an appointment to a notable public office for conferment of relevance, influence, or power. At the moment Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu is a PRIVATE CITIZEN like many of us.

This I know: Tinubu graduated with distinctiion and awards at Chicago State University, USA in 1979, worked for top companies in the US, rising to executive cadre, returned to Nigeria in 1983 to serve his employers at their Nigerian branch, exposed corruption in his company as a meticulous and conscientious auditor, leading to a top management official losing his job; resigned as a technocrat to run for Senate in 1991, won the election, had the courage to fight for democracy in Nigeria at his young age then against the Abacha junta, went into exile in 1993, returned, contested, and won the governorship of Lagos in 1999. He assembled a crack team, developed a 50-year development plan for Lagos, and took the meagre IGR of about N600 million a month when he assumed office to N19 billion a month before he left office. Presently, the monthly haul is in excess of N50 billion.
Tinubu's fecund mind found a solution to the perennial overflow of the Bar Beach (which the FG had no solutions for), having transformed the problem into an economic opportunity called Eko Atlantic. Few years ago, I stood at the window of my hotel room on the last floor of Eko Hotel and looked into the Atlantic Ocean, where used to be a looming danger. I saw the exhibits of Tinubu's vision, sagacity, innovation, courage, and sheer brilliance.

Today, with a 146 billion dollar-economy, Lagos is the 5th largest economy in Africa. Lagos presently receives more than 90% of foreign direct investment in Nigeria. Tinubu's fingerprints are all over these notable and undeniable achievements no matter the precision of economic and social forensics that may be performed on the State.

One may be envious of Tinubu, lie against Tinubu, and even hate him, but all these cannot CHANGE THE FACTS ON GROUND.
All these and more make Asiwaju Tinubu my CANDIDATE. May God whom I serve in truth and clear conscience preserve this mentor of men as the NEXT PRESIDENT OF NIGERIA. Is there not a cause?

he is a relic, an ancient weapon.
I'm not voting for a man who wants to lead the country just cos its his own selfish ambition neither will i vote a man who wants to make his friends rich at the expense of other.

i dont have a problem with Tinubu becoming president but right from day one, the youths has made it clear to both APC and PDP that they dont want neither of Tinubu or Atiku, most people preffered Amaechi, Osinbajo or Peter Obi

These two parties take us for granted

The attack and propaganda against Tinubu's ambition is driven by fear

Tinubu is uncontrollable, he isn't for sale as nobody can buy him, he has international connection and backing

Obi was never my choice at anytime, i had always preffered Amaechi as my preferred candidate and Osinbajo as second choice.

When APC gave their ticket to Tinubu and PDP gave it to Atiku, i had no choice but to settle for Obi.
Most Obidients didnt support Obi from day one,
