Khanben:Sexton has never been highly ranked. At best, a streaky shooter. And he doesnt know how to spell defense |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 1:21pm On Jul 30, 2022 |
Sexton is a pretty inefficient scorer and mediocre passer. The emergence of Darius Garland also did him no favors. I daresay the Cavs did him a favor with that offer |

A very sad day for the world, the NBA and the Celtics. Bill Russell had passed today aged 88. #RIPBILL #RIP24 |

RIP TO THE GOAT!.....You'd be sorely missed |
| Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 4:43am On Aug 01, 2022 |
I have been preparing myself for this day. Every time I see him at NBA meets, I know its only a matter of time. The way he would smile and be chill with everyone, you could tell this was an elder that been there, done that, seen it all. The man lived well. I am glad he lived long enough to see what the NBA became. To see the first black president. What a life! |

One of the few instances where it's not an occasion for mourning but one for celebration. Sir Bill lived a full and inspiring life. Salud to the olden era GOAT |

KD to have a seat down with Joe Tsai this week. Hopefully they talk out the issues and run it back even if it's for one season. I still think the nets are kd's best shot at getting a ring if only Kyrie and Simmons can sort Thier shit out |
| Re: The NBA Begins by felix00(m): 9:51pm On Aug 08, 2022 |
KD gives the Net an ultimatum. It's either him or the GM sean marks and Steve Nash |

felix00: Roland17:This absolutely doesn’t surprise me, see the embolden in my post after he demanded a trade. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 3:55am On Aug 09, 2022 |
felix00:Nash sucks, but KD is going about this wrong, burning all kinds of bridges. If he doesnt get traded that locker room will be very awkward. Way to ruin a career. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by A40(m): 11:44pm On Aug 09, 2022 |
felix00:Such a diva. If I'm Joe Tsai I'm not moving KD without commensurate compensation. If he wants to retire so be it. When people say the inmates shouldn't be allowed to run the asylum PC and wokies will get in their feelings but here it is again. A player that was handed everything he wanted and now wants to throw his toys out the pram Now this is not exonerating Steve Nash who has proven thus far to be an atrocious coach. I'd definitely consider letting Nash go if I'm Joe Tsai. Steve Nash probably is not the guy I would pick over KD |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Android22: 2:59am On Aug 10, 2022 |
Steve Nash was hired because of KD. I wonder why people are still pampering a player that has no advantage in this negotiation. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 3:42pm On Aug 10, 2022 |
Android22:where did you get this from. They got an OK from KD, Harden and Kyrie, but Steve Nash was brought in by the owners |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Android22: 4:58pm On Aug 10, 2022 |
birdman:Harden was not there at the time. Besides, DeAndre Jordan, Harden were all products of KDs approvals and outright demands in Brooklyn so it will be hard to convince anyone that he was indifferent about Nash even when Atkinson (that KD did not play for and still made the playoffs without him or Kyrie in 2019-20) was fired whilst KD was rehabbing. Very hard sell this one. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 8:34pm On Aug 10, 2022 |
Android22:We have to peep these rumors. That how they made it sound like Harden and Durant are now sworn enemies. Until we saw them balling at a concert like last weekend or so In this case, I highly doubt Durant chose Nash. For the simple reason Nash was not even a coach in the NBA when KD was coming to Nets, and had no coaching experience even as assistant coach. Of all the coaches he could have chosen, why would he choose Nash, a player with no coaching credential? With whom he has no relationship with? E no make sense. Nash is all front office. The players didnt mind because they thought their star power would overcome in any case. It is now obvious Nash should not be coaching in the NBA. |

birdman:News out there is that Durant is interested in playing with Harden again |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Android22: 12:06am On Aug 11, 2022 |
birdman:I mean, we had eyes. We saw KD refuse to select Harden during the All-Star game selection on TNT so he pretty much fueled those rumors himself. I personally think it is easier to accept that they reconciled post-All star similar to how KD and Russell Westbrook reconciled as well. I mean even Lebron and Kyrie have clearly put their differences aside. As for Nash, while I can also agree that Nash had no experience for KD to leverage on, same can be said about the Brooklyn front office in their hiring of Nash. One thing we can all accept is, Nash foot the bill that KD and Kyrie wanted: communicator, hall of famer and one who would not micromanage them. The Nets always said the 2019 and forward era was the KD era so he must have given his input on that signing. I have experienced KD in his time with GSW and he coaxes the journalists who want to have tier 1 gist on him to be revisionist. Is it not funny that KD seems to have a better relationship with Draymond who was instrumental to his leaving GSW than Curry who pretty much babied him and gave him the key to the team? Did this same cupcake not try to undermine Steve Kerr after he left? Did he not try to claim he was never really accepted at the Bay even when they were always calling his name last on the roster - after Curry's. I am not drinking that KD Kool-aid again oh. I have repented. |

birdman:Come on man. Nash and KD were together in Golden State nau |
| Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 9:11pm On Aug 11, 2022 |
A40:True, but Nash was an advisor. Not even an assistant coach as I remember it. Why would you build a championship team on a coach with no experience? But like android22 alluded to, these guys think too much of themselves. Somehow they thought individual skill would win regardless of coach. They prolly picked Nash because he is a nice guy. No accountability on defense. Just shoot 3s all day. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by Khanben: 9:54pm On Aug 11, 2022 |
birdman:If their problem was shooting 3s that would even be better. Their offense is so static, it's just KD and Kyrie taking turns, which makes it very easy for good defenses to key in on them because they are simply predictable. |
| Re: The NBA Begins by birdman(m): 1:12am On Aug 12, 2022 |
Khanben:I cannot ever remember a play drawn up to give Kyrie or KD easy looks. Ever |
