OK let me try and say something. I employed a guy too look after the goats. The goats where kept in two acres of and and the lands where fenced round. I have a borehole there also, but unfortunately the person in charge of taking care of the goats was not going too check the goats. The goats where falling sick, i new only when about 4 goats died, i never new the guys was not going to the ranch again. I dont really like talking about this whole issue because i feel very sad talking about it. I swear to type dey hard me. |

Sorry about your loss. @ Okine... You mentioned you were going to be visiting twice weekly..... Don't give up... Agric. is lucrative... My maize last year.. Apart from paying for the efforts of all farming activities, I gave the supervisor, 10% of all the sales made... I lost, but it was a learning process that was invaluable. Peradventure, I delve into livestock, my live - in worker must have a sense of belonging by drafting a % ( you work it out, maybe for every 10 or 11 goats, he owns 1 too. Apart from salary). It creates a sense of ownership, they take the venture very serious....they are committed to see the project to the very end. |
