Tinubu still needs buhari, you will definitely see different Tinubu after the election.
there is nothing to see about him that we haven't seen

Please ASUU and the government should come to a middle ground because this strike is already a violation of students right. For how long can this strike go on without resolution. Is there no law that protects students? If we should stretch this argument it means that this stand - off can continue for God knows when and at the end of everything, ASUU will be paid a backlog of what they did not work for. I can assure you that most of the professors have taken up other jobs which okay, but at the end it is the student and tax payers money that suffers for all this.
Government should act as government or yield to the lecturers demands. Enough!

Both sir!

I blame the government even more!

How many strike actions in the last 2 decades and over 3 administrations?!! How many more going forward?!!

ASUU hasn't fully come clean on what they really want, that's why they keep striking every single year or every administration.

If striking for a decade will put an eternal end to yearly strikes, then enough is well enough!

Even the legislative and judiciary arms ought to be involved in ensuring statutes are laid down to mitigate future reoccurrence.

You are really confident saying ASUU has not fully come clean with what they want. Are you for real??

ASUU demands is clear and everywhere to see. The students choosed to remain unmoved by this unnecessary strike actions....

And as for the no work, no pay rule, the students will still suffer it. You don't expect the lecturers to teach the courses they were not paid to teach. So when the strike is called off, the lecturers will start from the present academic calender to teach...

Now tell me, who suffers more??

No, the lecturers will still go back to the semester that was started before the strike.

Okay.
Really want want to know the backstory.

I also want to know the "type of jazz" you use, cause for some reason guys tend to get easily intimidated by you. Most often, none want to get in a long argument or fight with you.

Is it the pics on your dp or your personal text?

The lasting solution to this problem is for the FG to grant all the federal universities full autonomy, let them be responsible for their admissions, selection/election of VC, council members, fixing of tuitions and other levies/payments, negotiations/payments of staff salaries, etc. Government should only be responsible for capital projects in the schools.

Abeg, when I have decided to dislike people, I don't ever want to talk about them ever again. Everything about that thing is just irritating me right now. I had to go through all that to get the vital information I needed.

But by tomorrow, it will all be in the past. grin

They should never be paid for the entire period they didn't work when the strike is called off.

Paying them will be unfair to students who equally suffered setbacks.
