Because it doesn’t matter! These are Toyota SUVs not even buses, so they are likely for government and private use! Who gives another country a billion naira for cars?? It’s understandable when you give grants and loans to a neighbouring country but money for cars?? A private car that isn’t used for mass transit is a liability and not an asset, it can’t generate any income. Get it now?
To be powered by smuggled Nigerian petrol. Father Christmas of Africa and poverty capital of the world. What a disaster.

You thought your discovery of donated vehicles is to ferry the wife of the Niger President to the market?

You are as insular as Obi.
You are very very angry. What ever It is that's eating you up is surely not connected to the topic at hand. I see some element of frustration oozing from your posts. Get well soon.

You're a joke. You're a sad, ridiculous joke of magnificent proportions. This country is in the toilet, people are being killed, poverty is rife and children are sitting at home instead in class because the government won't settle with the lecturers and our senile old fart of a president is giving away our money to his brothers in Niger and this abysmally idiotic statement is the most you can come up with? Where do you creatures crawl out from??

Honestly, I don’t understand how those guys reason. How can anyone justify this kind of behaviour by baba Buhari.

Someone once opined on this forum, that this David Hundeyin is actually hollow and shallow.

I now believe by the above tweet he made.

Is it just today that David is knowing that Nigeria supports a lot of our West African neighbours with financial grants and material support, aside from the many bilateral pacts we have with these ECOWAS neighbours?

Did the government tell him they were hiding anything, such that he is calling it "brazen" and "daring" for being legally budgeted for?

What manner of hysterical journalism is this anarchist trying to push to his mob of fellow hate group members?

Even if Peter Obi is voted President, Nigeria will still continue to support our neighbouring countries, one way or another, and they will be budgeted just as this "discovery" from an idle mind that serves the devil well.

With all the monies owed to different workers, ASUU. With all the brokeness of Nigeria.
All they could reason is give grants to other countries
And you support it. Even though you have needs as a Nigerian
Mehn, I pity people who have you as friends.
You people will justify any wrong decision just to satisfy your ego or whatever.

The unprofessional roadside "Fact Check" journalists has a lot to learn from David. Whenever David brings up his phone to tweet, all of them should grab their writing materials including Omatseye.

See the documents and information on table, whereas some "quack" will come up with jargons without any homework and rush to "facf check."

I blamw the mod that push all those "quarter-baked" topics to the front page of the forum.

Weldone Hyundeyin. We already knew we will be in a mess if this man is allowed to pilot the affairs of this Nation, that's why he was able to get only 5% of our voted via the Governors that are loyal to him. Cuz in the real sense of it, we gave him only 0%.

We both dont know what the vehicles are meant for; but do you realise what you're doing is called 'jumping into conclusions based on assumptions'?

How people think on this forum is baffling. Support a country by buying Luxury cars? There are ways to support a country not through luxury.

I could be through educational, medical or agricultural grants and assistance. Not by buying articles of ostentation.

Little wonder people voted for a failure like Buhari twice.

I'm not a government official, and neither am I a part of this government. I dont know what the vehicles are meant for; that's why I asked if there's anyone here who knows.

Apparently, just like me, no one here knows what or who the vehicles are meant for.

I already came to the conclusion because it was mentioned that the cars are Toyota SUVs. An SUV is not made for mass transit, which means it won’t be generating incomes for the government. If it isn’t generating incomes then it is likely not a grant or a loan. Then why spend so much money that isn’t a grant or a loan on another sovereign country not in war? This is called deductive reasoning, you should try it sometimes.

This David guy is a bit lazy to me, if you're an investigative journalist, you do deep and thorough research and not just give nit bits. It's funny how people begin to lambaste the government because of this act. But as I've said earlier, the author is a lazy journalist for him to have seen an issue with the N 1.145 billion (not N 1.4 billion) when the country has in the past done things like this to other countries too.

But because we're in an electioneering year, couple with the fact that the country is in complete disarray, things that's not supposed to be a big deal ends up making front page news.

If the guy has done his due diligence, he'd not that it's not new, except he has a different motive for sharing the information

Just as buhari goes to Liberia to promise the president to assist him fight terrorism right, we play big bro to ghana, Benin republic, Togo, Niger, meanwhile those countries citizens seem to have better quality of life.
You personally, how has the government assisted you that they can gift another country 10 SUVs for 1.4b to move vips around?
Why not grant 1,400 SMEs 1m each?
14,000 small businesses 100k each.
2800 businesses 500k?

Must a vehicle be for 'mass transit' or for Uber (i.e. generating income) before it can be classed as useful?

Fact is that both you and I do not know who or what the vehicles are meant for; we just read a blank paper document revealing the release of funds for 10 vehicles to be sent to Niger. Whilst we all agree that bizarre things arent unusual for this government, dont you think it's equally bizarre to just jump into conclusions on a matter you have absolutely no info about?
