Thanks so much for the prompt attention.

Maybe increasing it from 210V to 240V would power my appliances better. I know I can also turn a screw on the carburetor to increase the speed and power.
Now I want to know which one will save fuel better.

210V will not power some items properly, so yes, adjust the AVR to read between 220-230V. Forget about fuel conversation, so long the running speed is ok.

The SPG 2500 is no longer available in my locality they currently have SPG 2900 2.2kva and SPG 3000 2.5kva. Which would you suggest I buy considering I may likely in the future get another freezer.

I have a gen that outputs 187v, I changed the AVR and it's still outputting 187v and under load will reduce to 185v.

Will adjusting the AVR solve my problem or there's a bigger issue?

I hope you didn't leave it out in the rains, otherwise, it's possible your battery has issues.

Even if it is not smoking,once it is shorting oil, the rings are bad..

That is obtainable with Spg1800 gen

Good morning house… I installed my hisense 1hp inverter ac and tried powering it with my Itec 3kw generator… it powered it but after sometime, it starts dragging the generator… pls what can I do about this?

If it’s the latest type of freezer that saves 70% power like the new thermocool, with a 2.5kva inverter with solar, u can power ur freezer.

Yeah my engineer increased the running speed from the carburetor but when I put off the ac, the speed was way too much; almost like the engine wanted to explode so I had to reduce it… is there any other way I can increase it without those effects?

You stay at Warri right? Carry your generator to their service center close to GTB by refinery junction, they have it there.

Means you have been overstressing the generator, you shouldn't bother using it with the AC, actual power is not up to what is written on the generator. A 3.5kva generator should power even a 1.5HP inverter AC without stress.

i have been there many times. They don't have parts there. Even call them 2 days ago. They said even if they have it they will have to get it from their lagos office. Parts are scarce there. I was recommended to use fireman carburetor
