The train rehabilitation was also a Jonathan's ideal and not this blockose government of the day. Rehabilitate the train from Port Harcourt to Maiduguri and abandon that one to Niger since it's not today the government is known for abandoning projects. |

anonimi: The so-called Pandora money was not Government money. Peter Obi made Billions in the 90s when he was based overseas and transferred money into a Shell account for his family. Note from today, that the Pandora money is not Government money. It is his personal money he made through hard work. 2 Likes |

IboHausaYoruba: How are they in soup if Tinubu wins? Support your Jagaban and allow Peter Obis supporters support Peter Obi. Don’t come here and be forming supporter. IPOB and Politics are parallel lines that can never meet. If Tinubu wins, the cabal will continue their dealings with nigerians because I don’t see Tinubu healthy enough to stay nigeria all the time. Nobody looses when any other person wins. Bad governance does not recognize tribe. Man has not come out to say anything that he’s gonna do only agbado and cassava. The handlers will make sure he doesn’t go to interview or speak to people publicly just like they did during Buhari time until he becomes the president then the cabal will take over. 2 Likes |

Peter Obi has been donating his own personal money he made from hard work to help improve schools, hospitals, and businesses. Yet, People like you are fighting to install a drug baron with a history of siphoning the wealth of Lagos, in the name of Bola Tinubu. 2 Likes |

anonimi: He did not commit a crime. Peter Obi did not steal the money. He does not want to keep his money where he will lose a lot of it to Income tax, especially, the money he is keeping for his family. It is not a crime. Lewis Hamilton bought his house in Switzerland to avoid taxes. It is not a crime. Unlike you fighting for Tinubu who siphons Lagos revenue for his personal benefit. 2 Likes |

ivolt: It was agreed in 2013 that rail line will be constructed to Niger Republic from Nigeria, this was contained in a West African countries' regional rail integration, 2011 which Jonathan was part of. If you don't know or understand governance you'll never understand how sensitive agreements are. This are the kind of agreements our clueless leaders have been signing including P&ID by GEJ's administration, Mambila Power Plant by OBJ and many other shady contracts which we were either not sincerely committed to or just signed for political gain. This same mess will happen with numerous rail line projects among others Nigeria signed with China if our next President is stupid 3 Likes |

ekukeku: Do you know the consequences of defaulting contract agreement? Nigeria is expected to pay Sunrise Power who was awarded Mambila Project under OBJ administration a whopping $200m just for defaulting the agreement. Nigeria was about to lose more than $9b for signing insensitive P&ID contract, the issue is still in arbitration court in London. You get why? It is ridiculous to pay a Union money for recurrent expenditure instead of capital expenditure. Is it not better for Govt to source fund for everything? 2 Likes |

ArewaNorth:Agreed with who? If you understand governance, you will know the difference between mere talk, promises, agreement and enforceable business contracts. There are actual document relating to P&ID and Mambila. Where are those for the Niger rail line and which companies were involved? This same mess will happen with numerous rail line projects among others Nigeria signed with China if our next President is stupidDon't muddle the water, Nigeria took loan from China under some terms of repayment. There is no "mess" involved, either we pay as agreed or they take over what they have built. All these talk are unnecessary. Just bring out the evidence of contract documents signed in 2013 for $1.96 billion dollar rail to Niger. 1 Like |

teepain:Nigeria has always given money to neighbouring west African countries. Niger isnt the only one, it isnt the first and wouldnt be the last. About 2 years ago, same Nigeria also donated vehicles to Benin Republic for elections. Not an expert in governance or foreign relations, so it may seem like misplaced priority to me. But apparently it's always just been a part of Nigeria's foreign policy. |

etrouble: President Obasanjo met about $5 billion in foreign reserves, and the average monthly oil price for the 72 months he was in office was $38, and yet he left $43 billion in foreign reserves after paying $12 billion to write-off Nigeria’s external debt. Please, Obasanjo could afford it. Not a Buhari who has drained all our reserves and put us in massive debt with reckless borrowing. Please, stop equating the state of things. |
