So upon all the myriads of trouble in Nigeria, this is what these idiots are talking about.

APC finished Nigeria already.
I was waiting for this expected and stupid post. I knew it would start from "upon all the issues we are facing blah blah blah''

Effective social policies that protects society's virtues are the building blocks of a nation's character. Use your brain and see examples like 'the Chinese cultural revolution' "the German affair" after ww2 and so on

A nation of people that love to chase SHADOWS in derogation of substance…
Personal fashion is the perceived priority in a nation where everything is falling apart. SMH

Pretty soon, females wearing long pants (trousers) will be prosecuted under this BARBARISM.

Mumu. You don't know that what is shown on social media impacts the society? Or your medula can't process this?
You shouldn't throw around terms like "mumu" when you're the one it applies to the most. What part of "Nigeria is a secular state" don't you understand? If you don't like crossdressing, don't crossdress then! Nobody's forcing you to engage in it, so why bother yourself with what's under someone else's clothes?

It's not the job of the Nigerian state to enforce what you call "moral". I know the thought has never crossed your empty mind, but all of us have different ideas of what constitutes "morality". Sunni Muslims say one thing, Shiites say another, Catholics have their own, Methodists differ, Baptists have theirs too, etc, and then there are the practitioners of the hundreds of African indigenous religions. Whose idea of "morality" wins out in this theocratic fantasy of yours, and what happens when the rest refuse to go along?

The “Chinese Cultural Revolution” was a MURDEROUS blot in human history…
While hopefully, by “the German Affair” you’re not referring to the GENOCIDAL Third Reich!

TOLERANCE OF DIVERSITY is a culture (and habit)…
It is the same culture that underlies societal, technological, scientific disruption and advances.

For BETTER and worse…
If left to the NASS, things like EndSARS would have been banned.

Government should restrict itself to providing quality EDUCATION that equips INDIVIDUALS with the capacity to figure out (and decide) what’s good or bad, rather than trying to impose their own narrow-interests, personal or even RELIGIOUS beliefs on society.

You really don't have sense. Google wat secular state means before disgracing your family here.

And yes the govt has a say in what constitutes morality. The government of Russia, china, Saudi, Japan all do.

What stops you from dressing naked in the street? Do that in any country and see if the state won't delve into morality

Yes they do to our moral standards, norms and values.

If you don't stop it tl, just look at what happens in the west.

It started with a non empirical based removal of this depraved mental disorders from t he registere of mental health disorder.

Then it moved to non discrimination, then tolerance then acceptance, then equality then changed the definition of marriage by law, then to promotion and now stigmatisation and discrimination of anybody not in support of LGBTQ.

See screenshot below.
Im not here to condemned any cross dresser or support them...

I live in the west and they value this people here alot because we live in an advance world ...

In Nigeria its not part of our culture and these crosser dress must respect that by following our laws...

But what I'm saying is that... we shouldn't put our effort in arresting Cross dressers now when we hav bandits and terrorist attacking people...

They should focus on primary issue forst

You're too lacking in intelligence to bother wasting any more effort on. Nigeria's tragedy is that it is full of drooling, bigoted cretins just like you, raw fodder for exploitation by lazy and incompetent legislators.

'Gender queer', 'non-binary'. Another class of lunatics are being pampered.

Instead of treating their mental disorder, the west is pandering to their whims and forcing everyone to accept mental problems. How shameful

Now is this not confusion? What kind of rubbish is this?? huh
if we talk them go call us haters.

The west feels they can turn white to black simply because they have the media. Any nonsense they want, they start pushing it in the media and movies.

When it comes to issues which don’t cause physical harm, our politicians are quick to show working. Finish Boko Haram and bandits, them go hide under bed dey think up lies for the public.

If you want to live under "God's law" so badly, why not move to Saudi Arabia, Iran or Afghanistan, and let the rest of us live in a nation with a clear separation between Church/Mosque and State? Government should be about solving real problems affecting all citizens, not for imposing the religious beliefs of a few on everyone else.
What many of these guys don't understand is that true Christianity and politics never mix (John 18:36). When they do mix, the result is never good and gives Christianity a bad name.

Imagine American Pentecostals supporting Israel and ignoring the cruelty meted out to the Palestinians? Funny thing was that in Christian Europe of old, Jews suffered heavily from pogroms from their hosts, calling them "Christ killers."

Look at how Pentecostals latched unto Donald Trump? That ,man was demagogue. Look at another of their favorites, President Bolsanoras of Brazil. that man is overseeing the fastest rate of deforestation of the Amazon like its a directive gotten directly from God.

Do I like crossdressing? No. Do I hate crossdressers? No. If that's how he wants to live his life, that's his business.

Criminalizing cross-dressing simply sends it "underground" where it can cause much harm. I have a gay friend who brings his male lovers into his room and his aged mother has no clue of what goes on inside. That is what these guys are really advocating for.
