Yeah but we have all known this for a while now. And it is not even about Ronaldo in particular but about the timing and the trend.

People are focusing on only Ronaldo forgetting that we have lost Greenwood and Cavani from last season without dependable replacement.

Last season we started with Ronaldo, Cavani, Greenwood, Martial, Rashford, Sancho. If Ronaldo leaves that would mean we have swapped Cavani, Greenwood, Ronaldo for Elanga, Chong, Garnacho.

Roy Keane didn't excuse himself from the whole preseason tour, in which the tactics and everything was being drilled into the players.

We're not overpaying for Antony or any of the others cuz we still have time. If Ronaldo leaves, we'll bring in a Striker, whichever way.
