I will advice your to go to neighboring countries for your permit process,but please steer clear from Ghana or Cotonou, because you have to wait 6months before you can use it to book appointment.

I process mine for Gambia, German embassy in Senegal is responsible for applicants from Gambia and I think bissau,once you have the permit,you can apply immediately for your interview.

I obtained RAVIP card from Cotonue, can I present it as Residence Permit?

I'm facing similar challenge with you, the only difference is that I'm not using German embassy in naija, I have rescheduled from august to September yet I don't have SL nor blocked account, but if I could get the option someone who could block for me, I have someone might be willing to sign...irony of life

These are the FIRST things to put into consideration before investing time and hope.

I'm a new member and i need some advice from the experts.

I have gained admission in one of the private university in Germany since early May 2022,

I have paid part of the tuition fee and i have also blocked my account with Fintiba fully.

But my mistake is that i didn't check very well on the German website about the long term date for Cat B to get interview date.

Well, that's gone. I have booked the appointment since May and i got confirmation but still waiting for the AD.

My program is going to start by September 1st 2022 and when i contact the school about the appointment issue, the school said if i didn't get appointment that i should defer my program to March 2023 and then cancel the appointment to reapply for another appointment against March 2023 intake.

Can i go to neighboring country to apply for resident permit and use that against March 2023?

Do i need to take my certificates to Germany embassy for verification?

I need your advice on this Sir's

There's a checklist on the embassy's website. Go through it. Print all the required documents, fill the visa application form and make necessary photocopies. Else you will have to pay outrageous prices to make photocopies at the car park beside the embassy. Same as the prepaid courier envelope. It is more expensive over there.

Please print out your email invite and take it along with you.

Once you've done everything according to the checklist, go straight to the embassy. Don't mind the 'hustlers' at the car park. They may try to convince you to print things that you don't need so they can charge you ridiculous prices.

As for interview questions, there are many on this thread. Just do a search. I posted my interview questions around December last year. Feel free to search my posts. But there are many more. So search this thread and prepare. Very importantly, be confident in your reaponses.

It requires a resident permit that is up to six months, if you plan using another country, your first step should be getting the permit first
