Most have WI-FI which permits internet surfing.
In Fact, 90% of Airlines encourage you to open up the windows during landing.
Again, Smartphones do have Airplane mode which definitely operates independently of the camera. So, your INSULTS were unnecessary.

Sometimes you Guys should take a break on these insults & reflect on your Lives.
Take an hour everyday to reflect on your Life, it pays a lot. Try it & Thank me.

Does everyone experience fear each time they fly? I tot I will come over it but seems I can't. It's embarrassing. I recently I travelled with my girl and had my hand in between my laps all through the journey.... Do people feel this way each time they fly?

On about 70 percent of the flights I have been on, I always ensure to get the window seat. Mid air, j am always looking out and wondering how or why we never get to encounter any other planes. This is sure a wonderful experience for you.

It only occurs once in a while. It reminded me when I was traveling through krygistan in Arik plane in 1872.

Especially over cities close to major International Airports of the world.
The distance between my Apartment & the 6th world's Busiest Airport is 15mins (by road).
So, no day passes without witnessing Air Traffic.
Sometimes, we entertain several numbers of Airplanes hovering in suspension in the air for minutes while waiting to be cleared by the control tower for Landing. A funny sight to behold.

It is called holding pattern.

If the captain and first officer feels the plane is unable to land safely (missed approach) they do what is called go-around, immediately you initiate this you are required to hold for those flights already configured for landing to take their turns.

Normal occurrence. I've flown Arik to Port Harcourt while Chanchagi was close by. We took off same time because of delay flight due to turbulence as advised by the Airport management

U are right.
Port Harcourt Airspace is something else when it comes to turbulence. In my years of flying experience both locally & internationally, no Airspace beats Port Harcourt in terms of turbulence. The turbulence can be likened to the unabating erratic behavior of WIKE .
Although, larger international aircrafts like Lufthansa, Ethiopian, Qatar etc generally beat such.
