Don’t be bothered, it doesn’t affect your application.

Please does it apply to a conference that has passed?

I don’t know about conferences because I’ve never applied to a conference, I’ve always applied as a tourist and I never meet up with the date I fill and it has never been an issue.
I’ll want to assume hypothetically (if I were a visa officer but fortunately I’m not) that they’ll be stricter with a conference attendee since that’s your sole purpose of going there, if it has passed what are you still going to do there? And if you knew you were attending a conference why not apply very well ahead to not give room for delays knowing how these delays have been the order of the day since last year July till date. Just my personal opinion, please.

Alright thanks please I want to do self upload how can I upload bulk statement

Scan and download each category of documents into one single file, then upload it to your application.

For example, scan and download all documents relating to your finances into one single file. You can call it financial evidence.

All documents relating to your travel or travel history should be in one file. etc.

Thanks for your detailed answer.
DrStrangelove:
Good evening,

Well it depends on how u present Ur financials during Ur application to the VO.

From Ur yearly salary,I can deduce u earn about 100k per month (am assuming this is net and not gross)

This amount can prolly only support a single individual and u can barely save anything on it.

The best is to declare the two accounts but u will need to write cover letter about the second account and how the money was amassed. Explain the biggest amounts and set a pattern. If u have copies of receipts/ cheques to back Ur claims, u shud be good. Overall calculate the amount u want to spend on the trip. Spend like 10 days. 1.2M max (out of the 5M) should be tidy if Ur using an hotel accomodation.

Goodluck

I’m in a similar situation, decision made since 4th July for a 21st June bio, no collection email yet.

Hi guys,
Made a renewal visa for my mum, she had 6months before now and I applied for 2 years, but she got her passport today and she was given 6months again. Please Can I do anything to this or it’s to just leave it as it is?
Re: General UK Visa Enquiries - Part 5 by Mrvalent(m): 9:05pm On Aug 12, 2022
Thanks a lot for the prompt answers @temodent @Ashirioluwa @geolan. I really appreciate. God bless you all.

I guess my option is to apply for priority visa then. Please what's the difference between Non-settlement and Settlement Standard Visitor Visa. Basically, want to use the visa for my plab 2 exam. I want to confirm if it's Non-settlement that is appropriate for this.
TIA.

It was intentional… however you can send a complaints email to every communication outlet of theirs.. Express yourself and make them see reason with you. Good reasons including the cost..
It has been done before and poster got apology and was asked to return passport for new visa… so anything’s possible.

Hello gurus in the house, please I have a sister inlaw who wants to renew her UK visa for 10 years (her 5 years just expired), she has a 3 year old son who has never travelled out. She wants to apply for 2 years for him along side hers, but I advised her to go for 6 months, but she is saying since he is a minor it may not matter. please what do you advice?

What you need is visitor’s visa. Visitor’s visa is a non settlement visa.

Settlement visa gives you the right to live / settle in UK.

The boy is her dependent, so she should be able to apply for a 2-year visa for him. Additionally, your sister has good travel history.

The notion that a first-time UK visa applicant can only apply a 6-month visa is not correct. But bear in mind that they will scrutinize 2, 5, and 10 year visas with more care than they would a 6 month visa.

The daughter of my former boss was granted 2 year Uk visa the first time she applied.

Hello guys I need advice, this is my 4 rd visa application for the uk, the previous 3 visitor visa were successful, one while I was a child (6 months) and two as adult ( 6 months and 2 years visa). Now I submitted a new application for my tourist visa , I’m a Uni student currently and was a Uni student when I made the other two last application as an adult.. I was sponsored by a family member who is a British citizen during the last two application. Fast forward to the current application, I and the family member aren’t on good terms no more so I decided to get my friend who is British citizen sponsor my application for the first time with his details and all that… after reading the thread now , post submission, I noticed a lot of ppl are saying that when A lump sum enters the account of a sponsor that it’s a problem … I just realized that my friend had a lump sum transfer of 5,000 pounds into his account within the same month of printing the account, although his account shows his work and salary being paid into his account separately and clearly, he explained to me that the lump sum was for money that he had borrowed to his family and they paid him back, I didn’t write a cover letter for that … he is a British citizen and works in the uk and I’ve had 3 previous uk visas in the past and an American visa … could this lump sum be a problem despite my previous uk visas that I have held in the past for short term (6months) and long term (2years)… any input would be appreciated, as I stumbled on this thread late after submitting my application as it’s the first time my friend will be sponsoring my trip and not family like my previous applications..?

Please is the Priority visa back on?
I need to apply for a visa for my mom but I need her to get her passport back before October 18th for another engagement.
Is it advisable to start the process so she can probably go for her biometrics next week?
@giselle237 and others please advise.

Good day everyone
Please help, I'm in a fix. I'm currently a youth corper and will pass out likely in November and already have my UK student visa and plan to travel in September. Does anyone have any idea on how I can collect my nysc certificate if I miss those remaining two months?
Thanks in advance
