No be today this one begin cap

Even a blind man knows Ronaldo offers nothing apart from goals

Abi no be you be the guy wey talk say dessers na the best striker wey you don ever see ?
It's not my fault that you, sir Andrew, are unable see the intricate details in the beautiful game. Folks like you, brother, only watch football for the hype.

Now regarding Ronaldo and Messi.

At a time when your team is down, you need a leader that will lead by example.

Look at Ronaldo, wanting to leave, yet he is jumping into challenges and tracking back.
He is the 2nd GOAT after Messi, yet he is willing to get his hands dirty and work hard for a team he doesn't love anymore.

Ronaldo in that match made 2 clearances from his box and still went to the opposition box and created 9 chances.
Messi has played 296 competitive games in the last 7 years. In that time, he has only made 2 clearances. 2 clearances in 7 years!!!

When world-class Bayern were pummeling his beloved Barca, Messi was strolling.

When low-standard Brentford were pummeling a United side he hates, Ronaldo was working hard.

What's the difference?

Messi still my GOAT.

Ten-Haag is setting himself up for failure if he refused to grow some balls and get rid of some deadwood players in that united squad
for him to come and still accommodate the same set that got 2 managers sacked show that he set himself up for failure

Ronaldo offers nothing than goals ,this is just the bitter truth

If he is not scoring he is not doing anything ,Messi will play a game without scoring and you will see his impact ,Ronaldo cannot have a good game without scoring

Watch football for the hype cheesy

He didn't. For preventing what would have been an insanely world class goal, he did well. grin grin

100 percent agree.

That's why I said this version.

This current version of Messi doesn't dribble, so offers only playmaking and goals.

This current version of Ronaldo doesn't dribble nor playmake, but offers only goals and leadership.

I will take the latter over the former.

Will take Old Messi or any version of Neymar (except Santos) over both current Messi or any version of Ronaldo.

With the way Man Utd played today... It shows Ten Haag is never enough...they need like 25 more.

Man Utd's problem is beyond any coach now. Even Guardiola will fail there. It looks like every incoming coach is worse than the previous one.

Leadership does win games.

Henderson is one of Liverpool's least gifted players but he starts any time for Klopp.

Once Henderson starts the press, there's no Liverpool player on earth who dares not follow suit.
I view him as the best instigator of the press in world football.

So a good leader determines the performance of 9 players. If he makes bad decisions, 9 other players are making bad decisions. If he makes good decisions, he has 9 warriors making right decisions.

I know...just joking.
The season they finished 2nd, all they needed then was to add more new players and get rid of the old ones and those not performing. Imagine Jones is still a man utd player and Maguire is still captaining the team. I just pity Ten Haag.
