I suggest you send a webform and an email to IRCC informing them that you had undergone a medical examination already. Attach your e-medical sheet to the webform and the email.

You could also go to the hospital that conducted the examination to confirm that your results have indeed been sent to IRCC.

Yes you need to submit evidence of payment of 9410 and the consent forms must be filled and signed by the principal applicant. Also the principal applicant can add a photocopy of her biometric slip.

Un employment may and may not affect depends on other factors. Each persons situation is different

I am back here again. Until now they have not released my husband's PPR. It's so frustrating. We had sent countless emails and webforms attaching the kids visa, contacted Mp no reply. I consulted an RCIC consultant and she said we are likely being punished for the emails which they see as a disturbance. She said we should stop sending them mails and simply wait. She, however wrote them an email on our behalf on Friday last week, still no response. Its been 3weeks and yet no news whatsoever. I really don't know what to do at this point. I am so down and school is starting in September

Alhamdulilah! PPR finally dropped for my wife’s SOWP and 2 kids(VV and study permit).We applied October 2nd, 2021 Medical passed November 15th and then the long wait. Eligibility started August 5th,BVL dropped August 9th and PPR came in August 17th.
Their trip is scheduled to depart this September ending and Our medical expires October 15. I will like to know the implication of leaving 2 weeks to the expiration of medicals on their visa. Is this going to cause issues at the port of entry?
If they take another medical exam before the expiration of the current medicals, will it over ride the current one? I fear IRCC might not update the new medical on time before their departure time. What do you advise?

As long as at the date of their travel the medical is still valid, then, they have no issues. If IRCC needed a fresh medical, they would have requested for it. Congratulations!

My hubby recently applied for his sowp using a gckey he created (my gckey for my student application was revoked, i dunno when I made that mistake though). Now I want to apply for my study permit extension and im thinking of using his own gckey since we are a couple, hopefully that will fast track his application (just me thinking). Do you think it is advisable to use his gckey to apply for my extension or i should create a new gckey for myself? Please I need to know as this is urgent for me. Thank you so much.

Congratulations! Please I want to know, between when they dropped your BVL and your PPR were you sending mails and webforms? I am kinda getting contradictory advice on this. Some say don't send mails, just wait others says keep sending mails and reminders. It's been more than 3weeks now since my husband's BVL dropped. Please kindly respond

There won't be an issue with the VO, I applied for VV in Feb using GCKEY, and in April I used the Portal to apply for VV as well before I summoned the courage to apply for SOWP and they eventually came through.

You need to reactivate ur old account. Although i dont have a 1st hand experience on study permit extension but i believe extending it on ur portal is better for u

Not adviceable because if u need to extend the date or have reasons for cancellation wakanow wont give u that opportunity. Check fares on wakanow and book directly from the airline. I had similar issues over a year ago now. I was coming to canada then and it was the era that CBSA required u to come one month before resumption and my resumption then was sept 1 and my flight was july 27th just becos of 3days turkish airline refused to airlift me. So i went back to wakanow dey said no more space. After lots of back and forth different treats to them about publicizing them on twitter and in the online space they now agreed to give me another flight for august 3rd now with double my initial booking fee. I booked then 365k in may for july now i was to pay additional 450k to fly for august 3rd. But friends that booked with the airline the airline just rescheduled without additional fees since it was not a no show

SOWP isn't just about him, but about you and him. You guys needs to show enough fund for your tuition and living expenses and his own living expenses for the duration of the stay. The money can be in same account or different accounts of yours and his.
