When I first moved to The Netherlands, I worked with my photographer friend, who is half Dutch, half Uruguayan.
In a way, it was through him that I met my Dutch girlfriend. The following is the story about that.

As a photographer, he worked with different brands in Europe, he also go to work with my ex, who at the time worked for Levi’s jeans, and was handling their branding,

When she was tired of Europe and wanted to travel the world, my friend advised her to check out Uruguay, and so she did. And he gave her phone numbers of some his friends in Uruguay.
I didn’t know him at the time, I only met him years later in Uruguay.

So when she arrived in Uruguay, she called my good friend Guille, and Guille called me and said that he had someone to introduce to me. So we all met at a bar and played pool.
Guille came with another girl that I introduced to him months ago. So you see that if you want someone to introduce you to someone, maybe you should lead by example and introduce them to someone first. Lol

That’s how we met.

Back to The Netherlands. He know that I’m into computers and that I do graphic design, so when he gets jobs that require an assistant, he lets the companies know to hire me.
We worked for Nike and Sony at different times.

I will post about Sony here and later about Nike.

When the Sony PSP was still new, they hired a company to help them promote, and the company hired people, including my friend as a photographer, and me as his assistant.

The deal was that he would take photos at the festival they set up booth, he brings them to the office where we set up, and then I will download them to his computer and transfer into the PSP, and then the PSP devices where taken out to where people can then interact with the PSPs. So they can view the photos on the devices. They were also loaded with Music and Videos, that were made by other people they hired to showcase the capabilities of the device.

It was a 3 day festival, we worked there for 2 days.

The photos below are from on the way there, we were just messing around.

But it seems the Uruguay of then, it's different now. We the singles guys association of this thread is patiently waiting for some girls IG/Twitter/Tiktok handles so we finish work.

Yes, things has changed, remember back then there was no internet like that, so they were not used to foreigners, so I was very exotic to them, but now I no too dey exotic o! lol

I've not done videos talking to girls yet, when I do, I will let you guys know. But I might not do it here if I feel they won't be that receptive, but if I go to Brazil and Colombia, na sure thing. The girls there open eyes more than those here.

The fire I’m trying to fight is fire of poverty big brother and I see lots of opportunities to do that in the logistics industry in the USA
By the way there’s this Haitian American I’m talking to at the moment
I’m holding on to her very tight lately
Even though my arewa parents might not approve the relationship so I’m thinking of doing it without them knowing lol
I was never a fan of leaving Nigeria but the happenings lately is scaring me away
I’v reached a conclusion to just pick up my transcript and proceed to national open university no be my papa kill Ahmadu Bello lol
Hopefully by 2023 ending when we must have voted in bad leaders (because that is certain with the way things are going)I should be out or on my way out.

and not what something people is best because of some artificial limitations they put on themselves and on mankind.
