Your takes are actually valid

Awoniyi never struggled he might had hard time settling into his team or perhaps he might not meet up with your hype and expectations for him. He has been playing consistently in top flight back to back, ( except once he played for FSV frankurt)- only in top division, he wasn't given enough chance in genk ( he hardly start) despite this he had 3goals in 955min ( mostly coming in late from the bench), the only place he was given enough chance was Royal excel where he scored 21goals and 10 assist, he conquered the league though it might not be with GENT, he had hard time with Germany with Mainz but did well with union Berlin with 25 goals and 9 assist, awoniyi was always coming back despite his woes.

You see it never about falling down but about staying down

At a point in every youngster career they always have issues, even our Starboy osihmen had his woes with Wolfsburg he only needed to prove himself with charleloi
normally it hv never been an easy sailing for young footballers leaving Africa to Europe. It takes time and during that time frame many fumbles but on the long run improve to still make a name for themselves in top leagues and clubs in europe

Osimhen had the same rough patch with Wolfsburg, same goes to awoniyi and many others but today they are household names in their respective clubs

But it’s unacceptable to me that one who left for the same europe at almost the same time with his peers with so much hype he gained during his u17 days is still wallowing in lower leagues in europe without any tangible achievement and whenever he manages a decent performance his chief dick blower won’t allow us hv peace here and once anyone goes contrary to his opinion he comes for your dick like a kid craving for candy cheesy

Nwakali this nwakali that, aren’t coaches in europe noticing this wonderful skill set he possess other than a keyboard tyrant in here?

Better thing no Dey hide ooo cheesy

Oh sorry,my post looked like insult to Nwakili....Hmmm,double standard?do you ever see me here talking how good Awoniyi movement was when he was struggling with loans with various club cos there is nothing to say and mind you I never believed Awo will come out of it cos the struggles was damn too much and he looked so unconvincing until Union Berlin.

Sir,some pages back I said I have reservations on Awoniyi performance this season, watching pre season was like can this guy makes it and my reservation still stands, hope he convinced me.When he scored his goal I was like wow, good for him and I celebrated it.

On Nwakili,if I don't believe in him I would not have said he deserved better platform to perform than his present club.

Yes I said he doesn't deserved to much mentions here and this was based on his present situation and you gave a valid points and I respect your opinion.

I wish the young man well.

But people here were clamoring for Eze and Olise when they were in the championship but now we are acting like the La Liga 123 is just the worst league. Are they not both division 2

Plus let's not act like we didn't see what happened at his club last season. We ask for players to be loyal to the shirt but when they do we trash them. I don't feel that's right. If anything we should want to see him do well and stick it to his old club.

Criticizing a player doesn't mean we hate him. Much expectations were placed on this Nwakali bit I don't just know why everything went wrong with him.
And then, respecting one another's opinions and thoughts is very important not just for the thread's sake but for personal rating.

Charlesememeka e don do bro....abeg no vex. Just let go..

Thesupernerd a lot of people enjoy your updates here.... Let peace reign bro.

This thread is more than a random NL thread, it is now like a super eagles family.

eze and olise did very well in the English 2nd tier in less than 3 seasons, got attention of an epl club and today are doing decently well for palace. Today they are rated among the best young players in almighty epl

Nwakali flopped in the Dutch eirdivisie, porto B,huesca, had a decent stint in the Dutch 2nd tier and on loan with laliga 2 strugglers alcoron, came back to huesca and was released. So you can’t compare light to darkness cheesy cheesy

Even few hours ago I read a post in cyber eagles where someone claimed that ex Arsenal’s youth team coach Freddie ljunberg acknowledged nwakali’s talent when he joined the London side but had doubts that he has what it takes to succeed in top flight football and today that’s exactly what is happening cheesy

Nacho was once in this same position as Nwakali sometimes ago... The thread actually erupted the day he scored. The love was massive.

Nwakali has disappointed a lot of fans but I hope and pray the guy finds his feet ASAP. His talent will benefit the SE massively.

not only being in the 2nd division but shunning out decent performances and numbers before the made the leap to the epl

Sadiq started getting invited to the national team because he was doing pretty well in laliga 2 last season, omeruo also got invited because he was doing well in the same league, midfield maestro also made the afcon team but not because he was spectacular for huesca last season but through back door of which u understand what I mean

One can be with a 2nd tier team but only good performances can attract a call up to the national team

Yes Oga Basco i said that and doctor replied with well convinced opinion which I respected, meaning I agreed with him on his position on Nwakili.....my little narration today on Nwakili wasn't insult but reflection of his present situation which I hope the young man would turn around for good cos a rejuvenated Kelechi Nwakili would be a plus for eagles.

I thought people talked much about Eze and Oliseh in championship due to their performances and also Sadiq Umar in Segunda. If Nwakili does it week in week out this season in segunda then why not...

One thing that should be on our minds on this thread, opinions would be differed but we should be more civic to accept it.

Thanks Basco..kudos baba on your coverage of recent concluded NPFL.

Well he has 1 good performance and all he has to do is string some more together. If u say a player can make the national team from division 2 u have no reason to be talking down on the man. He is already in a league that u say is good enough for the national team so all he has to do is have good performances.

Latest Update: Raphael Onyedika to AC Milan

Gianluca Di Marzio has dropped a new report saying Milan insists on Onyedika. Discussions still on and they are confident in their quest to wrap up the deal before turning their eyes to a defender.

Thanks a lot Sir but I wasn't trying to attack u or anything just giving another side of things.

Kelechi had a good enough season before it was cut short by management cos he represented Nigeria. He helped save his loan side from relegation a couple seasons ago. Let's not make it like this boy has just been selling puf puf his whole time in Spain.
