God bless Lagos state.

God bless Sanwo.

Love the way Lagos is moving without listening or minding any noise maker.

This is a good development, at least the road congestion will be reduced.

Nothing can ever reduce the road congestion in lagos unless there's decongeestion of people...

Electrifying the blue rail will be the worst thing to happen to the rail system in NIGERIA. Imagine powering the train through electricity and NEPA takes light while the train is in the middle of nowhere….GOBE!

Lagos megacity project slowed down terribly since Babatunde Raji Fashola left government. Sad.

Corona virus, dwindling oil prices, global economy meltdown and now Ukraine war, insecurity etc. The time have changed. You can't compare Fashola time to the present situation

If this kind of project is in Anambra....haaaa

Wàhálà....till d day of election that what OBI would be using as campaign
It is Lagos because the GDP of Anambra and Lagos is not the same. You want Soludo to use 4 years allocation to construct this?
Re: Jubril Gawat: Lagos Blue Line Rail Will Be Electric by DesignMaestro(m): 3:41pm On Aug 18, 2022
It's a normal thing that the blue line will have its own independent power plant. This is arguably the most critical infrastructural project for a city like Lagos, looking at its chaotic transportation system.

One interesting thing about the Marina station is that it will have a jetty for water transportation and BRT bus terminal for passengers who will be connecting with the station via bus.

You have a strong point but I have a feeling that many Fashola's basic megacity initiatives were abandoned by Ambode and neglected by Sanwi-olu.

This is what Obi Pandora suppose to do but instead he stole Anambra state money and invested it in his family beer and ogogoro business. And today his IPOB zombiedients wants to repackage a failure who couldn't live in Anambra state after his tenure but Lagos of Jagaban to become the president of a beautiful country they once referred to as zoo. God punish IPOB zombiedients.

A country that can't even generate enough electricity to power an electric kettle wants to power an electric train line. Stupid people.

Some people here who are not happy with this development in Lagos will still say it was their money stolen by Asiwaju that Sanwolu is using to do the projects.

Yoruba dey fly while south/south and north are running and about to fly WHILE the last region is still crawling because of sit at home and unknown gun men been celebrated.

Why can't you read and assimilate the content? An independent power plant that will power the train is almost ready.

A big elephant project. How much was allocated for this scam project and how much was actually given to contractors to execute the project.

Will Nigeria ever be great again? When you use 1 Trillion naira to do a project for 5 years on a project that should ordinarily cost 50billion and 2 years.
Re: Jubril Gawat: Lagos Blue Line Rail Will Be Electric by TimeTraveller: 3:49pm On Aug 18, 2022
Obi would have built this, but he saved 75billion and left the state with 127 billion debt.

Isn't Obi wonderful?

Sorry. Read it again. An IPP is being constructed at iganmu to power the train. Let's say yes to good ideas

undecided

From the looks of it this project cannot be said to be almost complete...power plant to energize the trains ain't ready yet, power emitting lines along the length of the track is nowhere, tracks ain't installed yet, central communication hub and gadgets not ready yet, terminals stations and communication facilities nowhere to be found, trains yet to be delivered to the country.

It's well, I just hope this project doesn't outlive Sanwo Olu as it has done Fashola and Ambode...its now almost 15years and counting..
