Arteta's voice was emotion laden, he was almost cry-talking....the number of times he used the F-word sef, u could sense the let-down in his voice.

I sometimes feel this is why he majorly had issues with the top 3 oldest players in the squad. He came with a Mentality that they must bend and be rigid. It can't work. Funny enough, they know you want to win, and can prove their loyalty to you differently from the rigid approach that the youngsters don't have a problem with. Like, these guys weren't finished yet now.


Las las, he's the coach, but this fact remains that you can't teach an old dog new tricks. We are seeing some of this issue with cr7 at man u. It's earning him insults. His own is even worse than the Emirates trio.


I expected he will be very harsh after some defeats, but he was rather motivating. But I also knew they're just showing us what they want us to see. The cameras and CCTV is making them more disciplined and professional. It is paying off.


I haven't seen one episode where he has an issue or discussion with Odegaard. I don't get that though.

What I meant was that Laca was too involved in buildup neglecting that he'll need to be in the box to strike. Why I'm even saying the "old dog new tricks stuff" Is because that's what Laca have been doing for the greater part of his career and it'll be difficult to just change it suddenly

Even though I was not much of good Ebening's fan when he was our head coach, after this ALL OR NOTHING, I now understand sometimes the coaches do everything right, talk to the players, motivate them and all and then the match won't still go in their favor. I kinda feel maybe we fans were too hard on good ebening too....just the way we were hard on Arteta and blamed him for bottling the Top 4 last season.

Maybe good ebening was just taking the fall for the players back then sef and we no know.

I see Ebening sef as a coach in the wrong environment. Most of the players complained they weren't hearing nor understanding what he's saying. There's an article I once read where Saka always meet Ljumberg to explain all what Ebening normally say.

But then coaches sef dey normally receive the heat. It's them that's the first point of call if anything goes wrong in the team. When you watch the series, you'll even see Arteta acknowledging how he's the one facing the consequences and shielding the boys (he's said so like 2-3 times at least).

And as for the bolded, I agree with you 100%. I just hope you start and complete it, I go really love to hear your full views and thoughts on it

Of all the Arsenal players, Ode understands his tactics the best. That's why he made him the captain. You will noticed he mostly beckons to Ode during match.

But fans are too impatient and ever ready to roast them coaches...I laughed when I read Chelsea fans attacking Tuchel when things wasn't going fine with him...A coach who jus won them UCL o.
For me, if I see players not putting the required effort and possessing little talent/ability on the ball, I'll put 70% blame on the player .

Ebening just seemed to be the wrong coach for us at that time, even though it might not be entirely his fault, but it is what it is..

Same here. I felt that was necessary sef. He needed to see Benzema. The actual tactics will definitely not get to be part of this AON anyways. This AON will make people really love Mou more, especially if we see his Inter Milan days. Sotey field maintenance dey weep on the day he was leaving for good.

He needs to be shooting more and more. He gets into dangerous positions and many times we have seen him choose to pass instead of shooting.
