Man Utd is a successful enterprise, no need to waste funds, moreso, debt is good for every business as long as it’s at an optimal level.

Well, the question is, how do you have a recruitment strategy when every manager has got his own style? Also, if they buy for the club (based on a strategy) and not for the manager, you guys will still complain that they are not backing the manager. Finally, the point around having ‘footballing’ people at the top does not make sense. David Gill was an accountant before he joined Utd as a director and then CEO. Also, how many clubs have football people as directors and CEOs.

Stock price not moving in years is not a new thing. That’s why dividends must be paid to the shareholders. It’s a good investment for insurance, pension and some mutual funds. They need stocks that are less risky and will provide current income/dividends.

Debt is not necessarily a bad thing, so long as the company can service it. Some companies keep huge debt profile to lower their taxes returns, this is how many business owners evade paying higher taxes. I want to believe this is also what the Glaziers are doing...

View it like this. Blind people compensate for their blindness with a very sharp and acute sense of hearing and sensitive touch.
Someone that is not blind will not have that extra sensitivity.

A short CB who has been playing that position for year, would not have made it this far in his career, if he didn't compensate for that disadvantage by having excellent jump power, good sense of positioning to snuff out danger and great awareness.

That is why over the years, these so called "Short" CBs are usually fast, agile and usually have good awarenesses of the dangers in their surrounding. The likes of Mascherano, cannavaro et al, usually have this traits in common. It's nature's way of complementing for that short coming.
