I said for pick ups ooooo not drop off

If you're not going to ikeja then you use front exit and go straight towards ajao estate/apapa oshodi expressway.

The road is not that bad like before, I drive big daddy and nothing has happened. I still pass there yesterday to pick someone. I left from egbeda and took the person to the island. I avoided tolls while coming and going

Forget it it's fuel efficiency is superb better than Corolla it's what I have been using for almost a year now so I can testify. It's 1.8L with turbor charger and a compressor

Don't give your car to road side mechanics else you'll regret buying that car

There're 3 major places you will find specialist within Lagos

1. Trinity, Mile2/Apapa- this is where I go for my car repairs and maintenance for both ac, mechanical works and serious electrical issues, cost of some parts here are considerably cheaper and affordable. They sell mostly Mercedes part here.

2. Ladipo, Ojekunle, I go here for mostly parts and emergency fixing, then there are some fixing and fabrications and parts that its only here you can get it done. Things like pulley replacement of the power steering pump you can't get it done in the No.1 location... Only experience persons can relate

3. Cleg Road, Ojuelegba, you'll also find specialist here but their parts are most times costly because they source direct from either ladipo and trinity, I've never been here b4 for any fix.

Then you'll find some mechanics littered around but you'll have to search to find them.

Me I've just 4.persons who have only worked on my car and these 4 persons alone are the people I use always.
1) 1 mechanic
2) 2 electrician, the one in Trinity na oga, then another in agege, this man can cross 7 oceans to my rescue. May God give him long life.
3) 1 ac technician in Trinity, the only time I tried another tech man I spent over 60k the following week. Hard lesson you don't wanna try.
4) 1 panel beater still in Trinity.
These are the only 4 persons that work on my car,.I wait if they're not available

In a nutshell, use only 1 technicians for every departments.

For almost 1yr since I bought the car, 2 weeks ago was my 4th oil change that's because I use full synthetic oil 10w40 liquid moly I buy from midoda search his moniker here in NL he's got quality oil for all car brand and also a great and nice guy.

Bro don't leave your car to sleep in any mechanic workshop you do not trust ooh they'll remove your catalyst, the 1 time I tried this I almost got my hands burnt but thank God, till today the pieces of attempt catalyst rolls and makes noise while car is idle

Las las, you got a good car bro. Put you mind at peace. Don't bypass your thermostat, leave it. The fan speed can be increased with a diagnostic mechine in any of the above location listed. I advise you do that, I did my at trinity @3k last yr maybe 5k now, this will help for better cooling of the engine and ac compartments so your AC works optimally without damage.

I hope these helps, less I forget use YouTube to get acquainted in how to operate and do some checks and settings. The car doesn't have a dip stick so you need to check YouTube on how to check it
Thanks bro God bless you

If it's properly done with all necessary part used no cut and join you won't have any issue at all.

The only issue is how experience is the person that did the job?

I took my for re- construction after the dealer first did it b4 selling it off and I'm glad I did... All thanks to olawaseun for the advise and link else the car would have been a money pit for me.

So it's a question if how well it was well done.

Most cars on Nigeria roads from Honda, to Lexus to Mercedes Benz name it... Even most trucks and vans are conversation.

These Avalon guys use for Uber most of them are conversation.

So take an experience hands for inspection. The electrical aspect of conversation and the AC aspect are the most tasking so an experience hands is needed
Not most, some or many.

When last did you top the gas?
Re: If You Are Uber Partner In Lagos, Please Share Your Experience Here by SamuelTaiw0(m): 3:32pm On Aug 24, 2022
As the govt have scrapped the MOT Task Force programme, I noticed there have been a lot of relief on motorists across Lagos. No more stupid and unreasonable offenses and harassment but you know what? Lagos govt is investing heavily on digital monitoring. I've noticed the one at Allen, some areas around GRA there's another one around Otedola. Very hidden but still open somehow but if you're not observant you won't notice and more will be installed as time goes on. People that always use one way, do U-turn anyhow or reversevon the highway go hear am.

The thing is in coming months, a lot of people will be fined heavily.
Let's see as it goes.

I'll advice you ask them to check for leakage before gasing. Try and reach out to the guy and in the absent of not being able to reach him, I'll advice to let go of the gas in your car and refill a fresh one. Mixing different brand is dangerous
