This is the problem we have in this country and our politicians have mastered the craft. You don't just borrow except the need arises. With all the 50b monthly IGR of Lagos state, they are still the most indebted state in Nigeria without corresponding development. Or are all roads tarred? Are standard hospitals and schools built? Are all houses linked with pipe borne water?
Borrowing is good but leaders should not borrowing to mortgage the future. Have you sat down to ask yourself why Oyetola could not borrowed, because his predecessor has mortgage the financial destiny of the state. If he was so greedy, he would have compounded the situation and borrow and kill the destiny of the state.
Very funny that you're even naming America as one of the most indebted country in the world but refused to add that they have a stable system that nobody can alter and the future of their unborn children for hundred years had been planned. Can that be said of Nigeria or any state?
