Wrong. Wenger has once used Iwobi as a CM at Arsenal. I trust it was a Cup game.

Also, Lampard used Iwobi Post-Afcon in Central Midfield for a couple games before finishing the season with Iwobi at RB in the last few games of 21/22 season.

Post-Afcon under Lampard with Iwobi featuring in Central Midfield for a good number of games was where the Rejuvenation/Further evolution of Iwobi began.

And this switch to Central areas is something I advocated for and mentioned via twitter post-Afcon just before Lampard made that move.

So Peseiro only came in and consolidated on it. He was not the first, My good man. Credits to him for continuing from where Lampard stopped with Iwobi before the 22/23 season began.

Credits where it is due please.

He was used as an AM by Wenger, Rohr, Lampard and Equaveon! Paserio was the first to play Iwobi as a CM.

Yes I like Oliseh...I followed him when he was with Lierse in Belgium league and was delighted when he had his cap against Ethiopia and his solid performance sent Friday Ekpo out of the team.

He was damn good as a player but with attitude problem....Oh happy with his sack,no oh,i just dey cruise baba

Yes on Mikel,i wasn't happy cos it was pure personal and not much of football reasoning though his opinion but there are ways ex internationals talk football that you thumb up.

I wish him well but would be glad to see Africa Guardiola in NPFL just like Finidi did with Enyimba.

Peseiro was NOT the first.

Post-Afcon, when the talk of Iwobi's Rejuvenation/rebirth began under Lampard, he featured at CM in a few games. Like against Manchester Utd for instance in April.

Iwobi’s rejuvenation as CM was well documented by me on Twitter during same period.

Lampard moved him about from RM/RW to AM to CM and to RWB/RB. And now in 22/23, Lampard is consolidating on his use of Iwobi in the central areas which he applied post-afcon before the end of 21/22.

So Peseiro doesn't get ORIGINAL credits for what Wenger first did in a cup game and for what Lampard first applied further post-Afcon.

Peseiro consolidated. That is all.

PS: And Eguavoen didn't even use him as an AM. He pushed Iwobi to the wings. It's Rohr who used him more as an AM and alternately, as a LW.

I hope Napoli draws Chelsea in the UCL

If this happens, we have:

- Osimhen up against the side he scored his first UCL goal against.

- Osimhen up against Kalidou Koulibaly (KK) for the first time in a real match.

- KK up against his former club where he is a legend.
This scenario has become quite common in football.

- Osimhen up against the Club of one of his top football idols, Drogba.

- Jorginho up against his former side too.

Etc.. etc...

Yeah, would be exciting. wink

Paserio is the man not Lampard. He trusted Iwobi in the midfield 2 against Mexico, Ecuador, Serrialone and Sao Tome. No other coach in history has ever played Iwobi has number 4 or 6. Paserio was the first not Lampard, please!

Iwobi was playing long as CM under Frank before June.

Well small boy, first this not politics secition. We've told you many times that forgiveness never limits his desired players to national team on ethnic affiliation.

I really don't want to talk about your small boy joy to dig up these post of forgiveness to nail him here to prove a point. Grow up and stop looking for petty points to prove.

U were blind to see where he called Obi ethnic champion?

Who amongst the aspirants have using ethnic solidarity to promote his ambition?
Who even use (fake) bishops to legitimise his running mate decision?

Today marks the final Qualifiers matchday for the UEL and UECL final qualifying Playoffs. It's 2nd leg day to determine the teams that make it into the UEL and UECL Group stages and we got Naija lads busy as usual.

Mathias Oyewusi Kehinde has bagged an assist for his side, FK Zalgiris as they currently playing 1-1 at home in the 2nd leg and down 1-2 on aggregate vs Ludogorets Razgrad.

Meanwhile ofcoz...the UCL Draws is on now live.
