Danielnino00:cr7 wants the ucl competition just to remain relevant in too European football competition prior to his retirement He is highly ambitious and willing to watch others break his goal record in the competition. That is his personal ideology and ambition If it were for money and bigger club/league he won’t be considering Napoli let alone sporting Lisbon and others Cr7 has a name and brand to protect which is the reason he is still longing to play in ucl His case is different from that of a greenhorn who is yet to achieve anything in world football so no need to compare |

charlesemeka85:How'll the move work in favour of Osihmen apart from higher pay that he'll still get in future if he continues doing well in Napoli and UCL? Man Utd is unstable for now and still figuring out how they want to play, Osihmen might find it hard to settle quickly. This move will favour only Ronaldo and Napoli if it happens not even United sef. It'll be good if he stays for at least this season. |

Danielnino00:Exactement! You have hit the main nerve spot of this whole discussion. A grown man with his own selfish and insatiable desire to extend his UCL Goals record is the reason Jorge Mendes and Man Utd are considering this. That alone makes this whole thing weird for me despite the humongous pay package involved. And boy, I love ADL's response. You want Victor? "Oya bring 140Million euros negotiable to at least 120M and be ready to pay for Ronaldo's wages since he would be coming on loan to Naples..." ADL knows they are yet to wrap up the potential 90M-94M deal for Antony. That deal isn't dead yet. So be prepared to pay even far more for Victor. Finito. See, Osimhen reads my tweets back to back, and we talk so he obviously knows how I feel about this. It's not something I bring up with him constantly because I want him to stay focused on his next game. For me, it's always about the next game for Victor and his short and long term goals as a player and as a man. But you see... If Manchester Utd truly wants Osimhen, then it shouldn't be in a bid to satisfy one man's UCL Ego. They should want him for HIM. Ronaldo wants to play in the UCL. WELL, my Main Gee Osimhen also wants to play in the same UCL. He knows for sure that after this season, he will bag a bigger move and earn far more than he does currently at Napoli. If Man Utd is serious about my Main man, they should join the queue for next summer because PSG and Bayern are already linked with him ahead of next summer. The Money some want him to get now will not be more than the money he will make in his next big move next summer when he is done with this season in Napoli colors. And Ofcoz Osimhen wants to make more money. He has a lot he is doing for people... projects he is running. Guy has a dream to touch lives even more than he is already doing so ofcos Money is very very important. He also has to set himself up for life after football so he gets all that. But you see, The Lad also wants to leave his Mark in the beautiful game. Money alone is not what drives this Monster of a player. He has eyes on making History, attaining True Greatness and he knows that such Status is not something money can buy. His decision making also plays a role in him fulfilling his footballing destiny. So abeg, Man Utd can wait for next summer. And Ronaldo can go get his UCL wish elsewhere abeg. Ronaldo got in ahead of Osimhen with Juventus for the 21/22 UCL spot. A very painful final matchday that saw Osimhen and Napoli throw away 2 pts to lose out on a UCL place at the end of the 20/21 season. Now again, Osimhen just got the UCL ticket he missed out on 2 seasons ago and someone here is yapping nonsense about how unimportant it is just because he wants to see his GOAT, Ronaldo play in the same UCL he now downplaying. Mtcheewww... Hypocrite! This is why I thank my Stars that some of you aren't the ones advising these lads. Bottomline: Osimhen will get his big pay day. Next summer will be huge for him. He will be embarrassed with the biggest financial offers. But right now, Man gotta focus on his season with Napoli coz there is a chance he wins something with them this season. Don't act as if you don't see that Napoli is looking very strong this 22/23 season. So abeg, My Boy will not be used. Thanks Dan. You speak well. Don't mind hypocritical Man U fans. ![]() |

charlesemeka85:So the greenhorn should join a club that is unstable and has every chance of ruining his career at the expense of Ronaldo that should be thinking of retirement now? You're only being insistent on this because you're a Man Utd fan... Last season when Ronaldo joined, you guys act like he was the Messiah sent to take you back to the glory days, and indeed after a few games the hype went to the heavens..Now,he is begging you to get rid of him... |

Danielnino00:I have even added more points to the post. It is amazing how some people make it look like Osimhen won't make money if he misses out on this opportunistic nonsense that is not even in his own holistic interests but is in the full interests of C.Ronaldo. And later, these same people will tell me that they care more about our lads than me?? Nna eh... this situation is one of such litmus tests to really expose who is who on the matters of our players' best interests and as usual, some will fail the test. And one more thing I want to clear up is the fallacy of Napoli NOT being a big club. Napoli is a Big Club. But they aren't an Elite Club. That is the difference. Elites include Real Madrid, Man Utd, Barca, Bayern, Juventus, Man City, Chelsea, Liverpool, Arsenal, the Milan clubs (AC and Inter), PSG, and perhaps 1-3 more if any other. Manchester Utd is definitely one of the elite clubs of the beautiful game but abeg... they are currently in shambles and trying to stand. Make the likes of Casemiro, Lisandro Martinez, Rashford, Potentially Antony and co stable their ship first. They should also make the UCL next season, then they could stand a better chance of bagging Osimhen who actually dreams of one day kicking ball in the EPL. But competition will be strong next summer for Osimhen coz the likes of Bayern and PSG will also be in the market come the summer of 2023 for a bad-ass Number 9. With Haaland at City, Nunez at Liverpool, Gabby J at Arsenal, and Isak now at Newcastle, Real high yield quality number 9s won't be readily available next summer.. and that leaves a fight for Osimhen. Expect Victor to easily bag a pay package of >>220k euros per week next summer. So the Big Ass money is coming, but he also seeks Greatness in the game. The two must go together for our lad. Finito.

Danielnino00:Not true... With Victor's mentality, he will shine in Man Utd. There will not be as much pressure on him to perform because of how low Man Utd standards have fallen recently. He can be the poster boy for a new project, and even achieve legend status if Man Utd fortunes are reversed. It would be a challenge, much better than going somewhere that you get criticized for not scoring a hat-trick every game like Nunez at Liverpool. |

ChrisKels:My take on this Osimhen's issue is that he should not pass on this opportunity. I will call it a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity and a chance for greatness. I believe Guardiola opting from moving from a false 9 attacking system to a top striker attacking system has to do with Erik Ten Hag's use of Haller. When others were copying Guardiola's false 9 system, Klopp dropped Firmino who was a striker but good with a false 9 role play, for Mane to lead the line. Tuchel dropped Lukaku for Kai Havertz. Erik Ten Hag on the other hand used Haller for Impressive results. Today we have Haaland at Manchester City and Darwin Nunez at Liverpool. Expecting Chelsea to land a hitman soon. Also, Osimhen broke through the game by playing under a coach that shares the modern idea, Emmanuel Amunike. Definitely, Amunike shared that kind of concept and got a lot from Osimhen. So, if Erik Ten Hag truly wants him, there is a chance he also sees something special in Osimhen. Finally, with the way Erik Ten Hag used Haller, Osimhen will definitely be a beneficiary of his system and will have loads of goals to become a brand name in the English Premier League. |

drDoom3:Does Osimhen have a stronger mentality than the dozen of good players that Man Utd have signed since the post Ferguson era? I don't think so.. Man Utd have proven that their problem goes beyond players and coaches..There's something wrong with the internal management of the club itself... Will Osimhen alone change that? I doubt it.. |

TheSuperNerd:Every Nigerian wants to play in the EPL. Victor, with his status and price, would be going to a top 6 club in the EPL. Man City has Haaland. Liverpool has Darwin. Spurs have Kane and Richarlison as his replacement. Chelsea have Lukaku, and are wary of spending that much on a striker again after his failure. If they do, it would likely be to bring one of their own, Tammy, back. Arsenal have signed Jesus to be the main man, and he is doing excellently well. That really leaves only Man Utd as an EPL destination. In fact, the only clubs that can afford him, need him, and are actually elite in the world right now are Bayern and Man Utd. Every other either can't afford him, or has someone in his age group and on his level already. Man Utd is a good destination for Victor. The timing of this move is just the hindrance really. |

charlesemeka85:If the deal is in motion, the ball remains in the hands of those that hold his contract. Napoli is fond of being ridiculous in the market. I think they turned down 100 million pounds from Manchester city a few years ago for Koulibaly. So, I believe Osimhen will want the opportunity, but will Napoli play ball? That is another question. |

Danielnino00:it’s wrong making such claims just because others didn’t strive They are situations that may hv caused the players you are pointing at not to shine or do well with united United’s recruit for the past seasons hv been shambolic but that doesn’t imply it will remain the same. Osihmen still has a lot to learn sef before he can move to the EPL cos there won't be 2nd chance for him if he doesn't hit the ground running immediately. Things like finishing, offside awareness, first touch still needs working on plus Man Utd itself isn't in a position now to be improving a player. That his undue agression should be reduced too cos EPL defenders will exploit it. See what happened to Nunez the other day. |

Manchester Utd haven't even tabled a bid. It is Jorge Mendes working out and fashioning out different variables to suit his super client, C.Ronaldo. No one has even asked if it is ETH that wants Osimhen yet some call this an opportunity. It is actually... an opportunistic opportunity. One founded on another man's desire to keep being the top dog in the UCL goal scoring charts. If Man Utd came isolatedly, without trying to squeeze in Ronaldo's wishes, with a bid of 120M euros to Napoli and offer Osimhen the reported 12M euros per year, fine... I will say, "Take the deal", you are 23 and can play more UCLs. But the fact that they haven't even offered anything close to ADL's demands just yet and it is just something that pops up NOW as strong consideration because Ronaldo wanna scram from that club, just makes this whole discussion ridiculous. Let Man Utd table the 120-140M offer first... then we can discuss this further. UNTIL THEN... MAKE UNA REST!!! ...Focus on other lads in action today. Note: And remember this... This Opportunity to join an Elite side and earn bigger wages would still be there next summer for Osimhen if this window closes without the Man Utd move story making any realistic headway. Again.. Rest!!! |

Danielnino00:Timing not in stability. Timing as in spontaneity. If the move were to work, it should have been well thought out over months. Man Utd is in the middle of a 90m Antony move. The spontaneity of the situation and the proximity to the close of the transfer window means that both clubs will have to make very difficult compromises to come to an agreement. |

TheGoodJoe:At the bolded, but there's nothing in the news that specified that Ten Haag wants him... What we are hearing is that Jorge Mendes want to use him as a pawn to get Ronaldo a champions league team... If you have a report from a verifiable source stating that Ten Haag wants him, kindly share.. I'm a strong believer in the idea that players shouldn't join teams that the manager didn't have an interest in their signing.... It doesn't always end well.. |
