Danielnino00:I never compared but stated that clubs makes such mistakes Chelsea spent close to 100m on lukaku but it didn’t work out, Barca spent big on continho and grezman it didn’t work out, Madrid spent over 50m on the Serbian striker they just offloaded to fiorentina it didn’t work out so why won’t I mention them? |

charlesemeka85: Jovic was never given a run of games. I believe he would have done well for Real Madrid. |

drDoom3:Ekitike is on loan at PSG..he isn't a permanent signing..And Mbappe can be deployed on the flank to accommodate Osimhen... Bayern don't spend much on one player, but the splashed up to 80m on a De Ligt a defender..They are using Mane as a centre forward this season... What about Chelsea? I don't think Aubameyang will be enough...also, Benzema needs a successor at Madrid.. In short, PSG, Chelsea,Bayern and Madrid are the big clubs that can table an offer for Osimhen next season..Man Utd can join the queue.. There's also Newcastle if they can secure European football this season to show that they are on the path to be another Man City |

TheGoodJoe:the one Dey gave him what did he do? Perez didn’t spend over 50m to keep on the bench but as a heir to aging benzema |

charlesemeka85: Jovic did not get enough game time. Benzema literally played the whole season regularly. There was no room for the young striker to prove his worth. |

drDoom3:Yet not every Nigerian can play in the EPL. But for Victor, he has the player profile for the league and it is one of his biggest dreams. I know this personally from interaction. And ofcoz, every other Big 6 EPL team is filled up with their own Number 9s EXCEPT Man Utd and to an extent Chelsea coz I don't know if Lukaku at Chelsea would still work out after his Inter Loan. They haven't yet solved their number 9 issue as things stand. And yes, Man Utd is a good destination but it is not about the destination. It is more about the timing. So your last statement sums it up. Timing. And Timing is EVERYTHING in Football. Move now... a huge risk (Has already taken such risk when he moved to Napoli). Misses out again on UCL football and no guarantees that Man Utd will bag a UCL ticket based on their current situation. His first season too at Napoli despite his efforts in an injury-ravaged season, saw them still miss out on the UCL by whiskers. Guess who benefitted? Ronaldo!!! Move next summer... same opportunity awaits and he would be coming off a superb season (using potential hindsight on how his 22/23 season will go and he has started the season like a house on fire already). So yes, Timing. But it won't be about Timing just yet UNTIL Man Utd can just table the God-damn 120-140M euros Bid. Until they do that... next summer it is. And the situation still favors Victor.

JohnBullMySon:like I said deal is highly unlikely to happen Even the proposal from Napoli isn’t realistic. They proposed that united should pay 70% of Ronaldo’s wages and hv to pay 120m euros before the offer will be considered to take cr7 on loan. Also that osimhen will be paid 220k euros weekly |

TheGoodJoe:benzema played mostly because Jovic wasn’t performing in training and was abysmal in the games he started and subbed in |

charlesemeka85:There are still flaws in the guy's game that'll come to bare if he joins Man Utd now. He also needs to learn how to stop being overly agressive else EPL defenders will always reel him up so he can retaliate and be sent off like Nunez was vs Palace. Haaland and Vlahovic are top talents that I think are better and more developed than Osihmen. This is just my wish as a United fan though, nothing much. Let him play UCL with Napoli for this season. |

Jorge Mendes has been hawking Ronaldo all over Europe this summer and it's becoming embarrassing... Nobody wants him...This is just proof of what age does to a player... He has already achieved so much in the champions league that very few players can ever achieve... |

Danielnino00:I really don’t understand the ucl obsession with cr7. He has seen and done it all with individual, club and national team laurels to boast of in his illustrious career so far Aside man United no top European club can offer him the wages he currently earns. And with martial rules out for the games against southampton and leicester I doubt if the board will allow him move |

Man Utd.. abeg finish with Antony matter first before una distract my boy with una humongous offers only found in stories for now due to Jorge Mendes' desperate attempts to find Ronaldo a UCL club. 90M for Antony dey hard una... so e go come be 120-140M for Osimhen una go gather sharp sharp before Sept 1?? I just dey smile for wia I dey. Anyway, anything is possible in this Sport and Man Utd still remain among the very richest of the richest in the game so make we dey watch. ![]() But the fact that we won't be having this convo AT ALL if Napoli had finished 5th last season makes this whole thing even more ridiculous. RIGHT NOW It is not Man Utd wanting Osimhen. It is rather Man Utd and Jorge Mendes wanting to satisfy Ronaldo's wishes!!! Full stop!!! I swear if I catch Mendes.... ![]()

charlesemeka85:Ronaldo is probably the most ambitious footballer the world has ever seen..He is the football version of Lebron James .. So obsessed with being ahead of others... He knows that if he stop playing UCL, Messi could break his goal record..He doesn't want that .. Sometimes, being too ambitious can make a man desperate..And a desperate man can do anything... Make una loan am to Sporting Lisbon...Pay his wage while he play his UCL in peace .. |

Danielnino00:I read about this particular possibility from a few reports and it sounded very strong. Not sure about if Mendes will eventually go through with the Lisbon route but I am sure even Sporting will happily welcome him as long as Man Utd pay the bulk of the wages so as not to "financially cripple" the club that birthed him into first team football. |

hatakekakashi:baba osimhen is a player I love and I deem worthy enough for that number 9 position but my disposition is not based on sentiment at all as a man united fan If the tussle is between man united and Chelsea I would hv advised he move to Chelsea without mincing words But to turn down man united to remain in Napoli just because of a season ucl campaign? I doubt he will be dumb to do that |

Odunayaw: Erik Ten Hag believes his possessive brand of games can lead to remarkable results. He believes in it. So if he wanted Osimhen (IF), I never said he wanted Osimhen. I was reacting to the rumor. If it was true, Osimhen would have benefitted from it. |
