I've grossed 20k today on both apps and paid less than 1,200 commission

Yes. Like indriver, Rida also evolved. Human psychology basically entails that since the majority are tired of uber and bolt, indriver became a favorite because you choose your fare, same thing Rida offers. The average indriver user has a Rida app and they offer similar fares. I use same strategies on both but rider is 0%.

Make una leave Pearl oo... Barbiturate has turn me to perfect gentleman, I just deh look em small ikebe and em rat wey deh shake since morning.

Seriously Pearl no offensive gesture or attack here. You said you took a ride from Island to ikosi on Friday. You didn't mention the end price, that could have add more light to this back and forth. No gain saying Bolt is better in taffic, but days like friday comes every one in a blue moon. I have always said it the Paramount thing is to know what you are doing and have your target. Today I set out to make 30k, I did 29800, still pained... but somehow I just felt like I should manage it like that. Drivers on Indriver should learn to know this, once it is 4 30pm on the island, you check the map and you are seeing 1hr 40 mins to get to surulere/yaba, just zero your mind to 2hrs 30mins.

Back to Friday... some riders won't mind paying 5500 to Yaba or Surulere giving the traffic situation and if you get to pick such for 7k on Bolt. I don't see any big deal here.

Ps: check your map once it is 4 30pm on the island and every morning before heading to island from mainland, check your map.
You're coming up grin

This Uber app is rubbish. Why would they be giving me rides that are 22-30mins away and I'll have to go through serious traffic to get to the riders pickup location. Before I get there or even when I'm just less than 5mins away, the rider would just cancel the ride, then Uber is busy sending me warning mails that my cancellation is too much hence my account might be deactivated.

This is completely absurd.

When I'm on a trip, they would be bombarding me with orders and when I end the trip,I'll have to wait a long time to start receiving orders....these are guys are stupid honestly. sad undecided

My issue with Bolt from the beginning na their 25% commission.
When dem come add getting penalized if a rider cancels the trip you already accepted, na there double wahala come enter am.
If Bolt fit review those two, then they're the best choice (for me though).
It's very risky staying online on Bolt if you're within area surrounded by traffic, you will lose drivers scores you go tire.
How?
A trip order came in from let's say 2.3km away, you accepted and fiam, you see 20mins to pick up cos of traffic, it's sure the rider will cancel and you will be penalized for that.
On inDriver, it's a different case. Even inside traffic, from orders popping up, you will see the one closest to you and you can accept if the price is good.
The difference here is that on inDriver, you see what you're picking, on Bolt, the trip order was thrown at you and it is a must you accept if you don't want to lose point.
If Bolt wants to recover their lost drivers, make dem start by reducing their commission % and review the DS and AR policies.
I'm sure they will see changes.
Who no like Bolt surge? smiley
InDriver doesn't need any surge. It's simple; pick the order that suits you.
I don't know why peeps complain about fastest finger rangers. grin
Shebi na fast dem dey fast and cheerful dey hit good money. Na fast dem dey fast and me self dey get trips anyhow and other drivers as well.
So, the agitation on that is still confusing me like this.
Much respect, baba.
8th wonder of the world is that drivers still use bolt

By this time it is expected... that's where drivers on Indriver need to use their head
Indriver time estimate is the most accurate so far. Will tell you exactly how long your destination will last. So if you pick a 2hr drop off to oniru, you do yourself

Weekends are always like that.
And you weren't even mean at all.
I don't think there's any driver who has not experienced such.
You want hear the gospel truth?
I tell them straight to their face that "I don't carry more than 3 passengers in the back seat."
Then I keep quiet immediately, then start an international disagreement talks, using scope to delay the time so that I can cancel with "Rider didn't show", incase they want to force it.
No time, boss.

You could have suggested they request another ride to make it two vehicles instead of driving away.

Some could reason with you while others won't, their response will determine your next move.

This is one of the reasons I hated this job.

Imagine her being a house officer yet didn't feel bad to scam someone working.
Nigerians have no conscience.

Using another account should mean her normal act not knowing she would meet a smart driver like you someday.
Smart of you!
The day I saw her request with a different account, I made up my mind that I must collect my money. I've been to her estate more than twice since I picked her, just wasn't in the mood to find her.

Her attitude towards from the get go was very annoying. She still no come fine join grin

My oga body no be firewood, Cheerful they try 5 to 11 or 12 for 5 to 6 days in a year. Menh! I no go fit. Not discouragin anyone, we all just have to learn what works for us. Inbtw, may God bless you with your own car, I pray. It is very achievable, but all depend on you and what you have to put up with right now. One of the easiest way is to draw a plan and extremely focus on it. If it saving 60k monthly, in a year you should have like 720k. Find a loan of 300k, that's 1m. With that you are almost close to having something of your own, the picture becomes more vivid and possible to obtain.

A year may seem long, but trust it is not as long as you think. When did we celebrate new year again? We are just 4 months into another one. May the Almighty one see us thro this months and more to come

It's been over a year now that a customer forgot 850k in Ghost1994's car and he returned it. Thank God he didn't pick another rider at the back of the car. I can't imagine if that person was a greedy person. Thank God for people like Ghoat1994 too.
