El-Rufai’s Son Calls For Scrapping Of 'Useless' ASUU

Bashir, one of the sons of Kaduna State governor, Nasir El-Rufai, on Monday, described the Academic Staff Union of Universities as a 'useless union' that should be dissolved and replaced with educators who care about students.

This comes after ASUU decided to extend its ongoing strike.

Bashir made the statement on Twitter, saying, "ASUU is a very useless union. They should be scrapped & replaced with educators that actually give a damn about students and how that translates to the future of this country."

ASUU commenced strike on February 14th, 2022.

My question remains, are there no other ways ASUU can get their money from FG apart from striking?

Most of our politician children don't school in Nigeria. They don't even care about us. Na average people dey suffer for this strike not government. Buhari no send anybody papa.

ASUU should go and lock National Assembly complex instead of locking schools for average Nigerians. They've been going on strike for decades yet nothing is happening. It's only a fool that will be doing same thing every time and expect different result.

Always looking for people who shared your warped opinion that always defied logic. Are you aware of the recent 6.8B bailout for cattle ranching in Kastina while ASUU have been on strike for the past 6month?

but when those cattles are on the street or in farm lands eating people's crops you will open your mouth and shout...why you all confused...you dont want open grazing..now the FG is funding ranches (ruga) to solve the problem and reduce farmer herder clash..you are still complaining

ASUU strike has barely killed people ...farmer herder clashes has wasted thousand of souls .. there is no comparison here

will you choose ASUU strike over your safety and farms if you have one

the FG needs to task states who are given these money to judiciously utilize it for the ranches.. then it will be easy to obliterate any cattle outside the ranches or grazing openly

I would have preferred if the FG handle the construction of these ranches..but confused and daft Nigerians will say fulani agenda ..
