They placed their router and one WiFi extender inside my room and the other extender in my living room downstairs... Not sure I'm enjoying it cos u av to restart the router wen signal is lost. My phone can connect to WiFi wen am upstairs but not wen am downstairs.. Wen everything is on.. Speed download is massive

The thought of dashing Dstv my hard earned Naira just for some expensive plans to accommodate football viewing was the motivating factor for the switch. Whatever the streaming entertainment is, I got it!

If i had known about FOB, i would not have spent 55k on a brand new router as that would have gotten me the installation plus 1 month sub. I am spending 13k a month on Swift and average speed with IDM is around 3-4Mb/s. Whilst using speed-test, its hitting 30mbps downloads and 7mbps uploads. Its a bloody Huawei CAT7 router with Cat 6 ethernet cable. Even though there is no FUP and downloads are truly unlimited during the free nights, i am not satisfied at all. I am getting frustrated with these speeds atimes and i have to seriously plan on getting FOB at the end of the year as fortunately they are in Festac Town now. I would like to go for the first plan which shows 16mbps but i am worried if my downloads will actually peak at that value as per see scamming from Swift...

Please, pardon my many questions. I have looked at the cost analysis, and it is not profitable seeing it'll only be used between 8am - 4pm, only Mondays to Fridays.

I think I'll go for something movable, so I can go home with it and continue using it during weekends. Please, which of the networks give very good package, MTN, Airtel and Glo are good in my area. (I'm actually bias against Glo because of their numerous network issues)

MTN gives good bonus, 100% or more, for new SIMs for about 3 months on their data plans. I subscribed 1.5TB for hynetflex/broadband yearly plan and received 2TB bonus.

The speed fluctuates like normal mtn 4G speed, can be as Low as 1mbps when network is bad or upto 20mbps or above with good network. I think depending on location it can be higher. I got it as backup because it has good upload speed for video calls

I can confirm to the house that i wasted money onboarding onto eww networks. The stuff is a piece of junk.. I was onboarded on Saturday and pulling speed 25-30Mpbs (I think my first month, i was placed on about 28K/month which i frowned on and said i will reduce to N18,900 subsequent months..28K too much ooo)

Fast forward to Tuesday, FUP has set in and now pulling about 6Mbps .. i wan cry.. i av told the sales guy/Engineer that i am no more doing after this first month

i paid for equipments 49,999, installation..first month subscription 28k, bought 2 wifi extenders 50k and now i am getting this rubbish speed. These people claimed they are satellite ooooo.. how can FUP come into after like 3-4 days of usage and we still dey go 30days

I went through their website when you quoted it and I must say I wasn't impressed with the whole site. Not detailed at all. Then I saw their address is somewhere on Ijegun Road. Haaaaaaaaaaaa! I knew it was definitely some mushroom outfit doing some small scale radio things.

From what I've been able to gather, if it's not fibre, I won't go near it. My younger brother's experience with Tizeti (wifi.com.ng) is still very fresh. Guy did just one month with them and packed up their setup.

Have you tried reaching out to FibreOne to know if they're in your area?

I got a new router and new SIM, I guess it applies to new SIMs. The bonus can be used anytime, that is what reduces first before the main data
