That'll be labour cost alone, I believe. Wood should cost much more than that...guessing from personal experience.

Was kinda thinking is on the high side
Building is a 4 bedroom duplex

I spent over 300k on wood for my parapet and labour was 70k, however mine is a 4 bedroom bungalow so probably has a longer perimeter than yours.

The N80,000 should be for only Labour cost for payment of carpenters. Wood will cost much more, like Rany4all said.

We have started supplying this site with sand, blocks and iron reinforcement rods needed to build the next stage of this building.

The decking was done with local red stones right?

Oga Spyder, I am building a home now and I am at roofing stage. The building surface area is ~240 sq m. I used some roofing apps online to estimate the roof cover applying 1,2 and 3feet of eaves and my number couldn't match what I was quoted. I was getting less than 380 sq m.

Using the info above what would be the estimated woodwork, labor and Material?
How about the roofing cover assuming I am using Stone coated(Milano, Bond or Roman Designs)

I was quoted ~1m for woods and 2.37m(425sq m roof tiles) for roofing cover and accessories and 800k for labor for both

My Engineers fees were included in those labor charges.

I feel that is a bit much.

I feel that is a bit much.

To be very candid with you, roofing measurements will never be exact, even if done with 3 different people, you will get 3 different quotes. What I usually do is to commence the work with the wood quotation of my carpenters, while making sure I buy less than what they demanded, and buy more later.

Call for roofing covering quotation after roofing wood work is completed. Physical measurements will beat estimated figures anyday. Thanks.
