I'd say come up with projects and work on them and then be able to explain each part of it and why you made the choices you made. Pretty much show that you are detailed oriented. Join forums for programmers online. Then try to work on some projects even if they are free. Projects for like non profits organizations, but in Nigeria and outside. Try to make sure it's something you can knock out fast enough and will not weigh you down too long.

Now work on your linkedin portfolio and add all these projects to it. Also learn a new language like Spanish, French, or Portuguese, and while learning, make new friends to practice with, and those friends might have a connection for you. You never know!

Best of luck and keep trying till you get to where you want to get to.

Pretty much it's to trade using market structure. Doing too much kills, so make it as simple as possible.

1. Stick to solid stocks, so only trade stocks on the S&P 500 (you can trade other things later when you don hammer well well)
2. Don't trade with margin until you know what you're doing.
3. Have the Bollingerbands on your chart, wait for a crash down on the lower band. (see attached image)
4. Wait for a bounce back up.
5. Buy the next time the price comes back to touch the lower band and a green candle stick is formed.
6. Make sure to take profits. Look at history to help you decide when to take profit.

Always start small by buying just 1 or two shares. Buy and sell 20 different times over a period of time, then when you know what you're doing, you can invest more.

Let me know if you have questions.

Interesting, can’t wait to read about the setup you intend dropping.

By the way, what’s your TA edge for stocks?

No, you don't need a transit visa with a US green card.

And thank you for your feedback.

As little as possible, because at the start it's not about how much, it's about discipline. And the more money you have at the beginning, the more trouble you will get yourself into.

So don't put anything more than $100 in any platform you sign up with, and even then, only use small part of that money when you trade.

So let's say you transfer $100 there, I'd say buy just one Levi's share. It's currently at $17.88 now. LEVI is a very solid stock.
But you need to now get to know it and see how it moves. If you follow the setup I showed to Kumulus, then just practice that 20 or more times, where you are able to buy and then sell days or weeks later for profits, then you just slowly increase how many you buy.

Also what you guys should do is open random charts, and look for the setup I outlined and see that it works a lot. Though for few months now, things have gone crazy, but we are getting back to the old days again, so I will keep working like a charm.

We need to try to be on another level to get ahead in life o, and to find true happiness and peace.

You know that saying "We buy things we don't need with money we don't have to impress people we don't like." lol
That kink of life go just put us more into trouble and misery.

To add to what @naijamanyoutube said, Data Structure and Algorithms (DSA) is a must-know. Cause it could shock you that with all the experiences and skills you got, you could still miss the job cause of their tech job interviews are focused more on problem solving skills among others.

You could start by learning about it (DSA) and later solving problems related to them from coding sites like leetcode, etc. Also searching about interview questions outside coding field too.

Lately I have been depressed.
I got admitted into South Dakota school of Mines and Technology, for the masters program in Industrial Engineering (with no funding/scholarship from the school). I was able to get a may 24, 2022 visa appointment date at the American embassy in Lagos, but I was denied the visa. I had hopes of trying again. I had another date- August 15- it also turned out badly. After the interview, I felt so depressed, cos I have no job, and I really had hopes that I would be granted the visa, cos lots of folks have been getting their visas approved at the American Embassy in Abuja.
After the interview, on my way to my hotel room, I kept muttering to myself "what am I going to do with my life". The future seemed bleak, cos I had and still have no job. Presently, I'm doing nothing; submitted my CV online, yet nothing. At this time, I just need a job to help myself, I'm just home doing nothing. I'm putting this out here, maybe someone could assist me , I studied mechanical Engineering.
Attached is a copy of my rejection letter from the Lagos embassy. I tore and discarded the rejection letter that was given to me at the Abuja embassy. Please I need a job, at least to get money to apply to schools again.

It's not easy to face rejection. I was rejected an American visa once in England, 7 years later I got it in The Netherlands.
The rejection was painful, but today, I have no such problem. So I just want you to know that it's not the end of the world. Don't give up hope, but you might have to change strategy.

I was denied in England because I didn't have a solid foundation. I was on a 2 year UK visa that's about to expire, of course the American embassy was not going to give me visa based on that.
But when I applied from The Netherlands, I had the Dutch residence permit that allows me to live there forever and to become their citizen in few years after, I also had a job, even though then it was just a dish washer at restaurant, but I also submitted papers showing web development company I registered.

You will need to show proof that you can pay for you studies and everything else you will need in the States, for them to give you a visa.

Me I cannot help financially because every dollar I have is budgeted towards my YouTube project, which will take years before I see 1 kobo from it in profits.
The advice I can give is to try to be creative. I believe a lot in YouTube, so why not create videos about things you know and teach others about Mechanical Engineering. Or build something that might get the attention of people with money that are willing to sponsor someone.
I've seen videos of those guys building cars or transformers that got scholarships.

That's all I can think of for now. If anyone else got ideas, please speak up o!
