Dear Igbo men, don't be misled by western tradition. This is actually how we propose to our ladies in Igbo land, and not the other way round. It is the lady that should kneel down to accept an engagement ring from you. No true Igbo man should kneel down to propose to a lady. Its not part of our tradition.
