No. Just routine inspection to be sure the car is in good shape. That was what he told me but he is a very busy man. He basically just hammered on his remittance. That he doesn't joke with it o. So the civic doesn't come with any other condition.

The corolla man is ready to reconsider his position on the weekend thing but he said he may need to use the car once in a whole for one or two days.
I see that the legends are already responding to you which is very important.
I also had such offer with an 08' accord and I declined straight - I would be submitting car on Friday evening and be picking it up on Monday morning (with normal 30k remmitance), though the car shaprapra in terms of interior and body, but that's Monday - Friday hustle when I knew it won't favour me at the end of the day after considering other things attached to it.
Such person can say him want use the car for the whole week, make person go rest for the week. E no make sense.
Seems you're controlling the situation already, all the best, bro.
Much respect, boss.

Loose pressure?
Have the engine been worked on before?
Or did he try fixing it before confirming it has lost pressure?
Highest hat could likely happen is the engine gasket getting burnt if you drove it with belt and that means fans won't work, so it will lead to overheat
No the engine hasn't been worked on since we bought it......maybe we should do that

Please someone should help recommend a good alignment and wheelbalancing service center around Gbagada axis.

I just changed all my tyres at a vulcaniser and want to do the alignment before accepting a trip on inDriver (seems they have good customer base here in Pedro/Shomolu/Gbagada).

Forget the corrolla man. He's not ready.. He can't be using the car one or two days, the only time he gets to see the car is if he wants to physically check it to assess how well you have been taking good care of the car.

Check it yourself.... Is water in the radiator, how does it look like.? Check your dipstick, how is the oil like.
Get another battery to start the car. Did it overheat till you got home?

Oga police said I will bring my car to their station VIO will test the car before they release it to me, they will have to see the other cars and drivers involved in the accident -presumably also for vio to test - , they will also go to the accident scene to interview witnesses after which they will record it in their crime diary.

After all that, I will now pay 20K and apply for a police report.

Maybe u should tell what really happened. Cos normally if accident happen police dey show. If u guys settled on ur own without documenting what happened u may have to give ur insurance company a lie they will fly with. Like hit and run or something Or lone accident
Cos if u say u where involved in an accident with other cars without providing proof, u r on ur own, depending on the amount u are claiming for insurance company to pay.

ABEG HOUSE, MAKE UNA EPP ME ANSWER DIS QUESTION ABEG

Why is it that riders in Nigeria get angry anytime I ask them to please, "Confirm the Riders Name?"

Some passengers will just start shouting, like, "mtcheew, will I enter the wrong car?...", "I've already checked your plate number na...", "Na wa ooo...", "which one is this again..." ...

They would end up saying 1000 words in their rants, instead of just saying the 1 word that matters, THEIR NAME, sigh, sigh, sigh sad undecided undecided sad

There are the cool ones though that will just answer straight up and in turn ask for my name/drivers name and then we start the trip and roll.

Abeg, why are they so angry to tell the driver their name

See, everybody dey vex for this country.
No dey stress people.

Why are you wasting your time on the Corolla (the guy man has only that car and he’s definitely going to be collecting it once a week (probably weekend) when you have a good alternative already.

Good morning comrades.

I need expert opinion on a matter before me.

I have two offers of rentals at hand, a corolla (pure water) and a civic 07...

I need proper advice on which one to pick based on:

Profit
Maintenance
Ruggedness
Any other useful info

The owner of corolla said I will bring the car for him every weekend and I take it on Monday to work with. I told him weekend is the main period the hustle pays that it will be hard to meet up. He said, I will meet up.

Some questions ehhh...even if everyone on this thread tells u to collect d Corolla will u take that advise?
Or maybe the Corolla is 15k per week. Who knows.

I feel for you. Guess your engine has knocked. But should alternator belt make an engine to knock? Just wondering.

Yes,
No belt means water pump will stop working. Engine will overheat, excessive overheating affects the Corolla engine and causes irreparable damage to d engine block because the engine is aluminium and it can expand beyond remedy.

My Toyota Corolla alternator belt cut while on motion. The place was the bad place so I couldn't stop then I rugged the car to almost reach house before he come pack up. Then it's not starting again . Later the mechanic say the engine don loose pressure na to buy another one

Obviously the car overheated as you rugged the car home.

But call another mechanic to confirm the engine state before any action

Some riders are stupid sha with their entitlement mentality, how can you order indriver and be having stops to buy things and when you let them know it doesn't work that way on indriver, they start spilling rubbish saying 'is it not my money or am I not paying for the trip' after the trip, the werey give me 1star and comment I don't have customer relations service. ..

Please take the car to another Kazeem or like it's been suggested check the dip stick if oil mixed with water.

But one more question, was the engine making any noise like metals while you were ruggeding it home?

Sincerely. That car overheated and must have burnt gasket. I wonder how people do that, as a driver you are supposed to be aware at all times especially in a situation like that. The temperature guage is there for a purpose. Even before the car goes off, the movement and sound would have changed as long as you are observant.

This morning I drove my car without fan from Sangotedo to Lagos Island and back to Jakande for fixing. No issues, na experience.
