Go and reside in Anambra, make a meaningful impact in the state such as Igbos have in Lagos, and come back to defame Igbos. By the way, Governor Soludo has a non-Igbo in his cabinet.

You can't sit in your village in Oyo state and expect to be appointed or elected into positions of leadership in places you've only heard about on TV. Igbos deserve what they get in Lagos and much more. It is Igbos who live, work, and pay taxes in Lagos, that voted for the people you are praising your tribal kinsmen for. They have the voting strength in Lagos and are constitutionally granted the right to exercise their civil rights.

If you are in any doubt, watch how Lagos will vote in February. E go shock both you and your ancestor, emi lokan cheesy
Even when you people are leaving your witch-besieged barren land for Lagos and other developed southwest states you expect Yorubas to reside there? It will be a curse for any Yoruba person to leave the ever productive southwest for a dead zone like that, the little ones that live there have little or no options.

The fact remains your tribe is the most hostile in the country even towards your folks, if life is conducive and easy there you won't leave and be selling gala for survival in Lagos all in the name of developing the Lagos.

with all these nonsense the igbos still want votes from the yorubas. Their hate speech is just trucating the chances of ruling this country. obviously no igbo man can rule this country in years to come not even Peter Obi.

How about Tinubu who disenfranchised Igbos from registering to vote in Lagos?. Was he also right to deploy his thugs to snatch ballot boxes and intimidate voters in Igbo-dominated polling units?.
lol how many Yorubas do you see dragging local politics with you in your state? But you people like to move to other people's state to dictate their local politics to them and you just expect them to lay down and take it......you people always overreach and that has been your downfall from Zik to Ojukwu and very soon Bikol-Obi..... cheesy grin

lol because when God dey create Nigeria he talk say na only Igbo go dey do business... because it is only the tax from their 2x2 shop, pharmacy and gym that is generating 50Billion monthly IGR per month in Lagos..... grin.........you've still not told us whether you pay tax.....yes your business is profitable......have you played your tax? I beg to differ,I'd rather say that apart from neighbouring tribes from the SS,most other tribes don't live in the SE as much as the Igbos live outside of the east. The SS tribes, Hausas, Yorubas, Benue, Ghanaians, Camerounians etc that live here, the locals treat them in a friendly manner. We relate well with strangers.
One thing u should have asked about is why don't those non-Igbos buy land & build houses in the east like Igbos do elsewhere outside Igboland. When people say Igbos don't believe in one Nigeria I laugh because Igbos took risk & invested outside their own homeland which other tribes rarely do. It's not the fault of Igbos that other tribes don't buy properties in Igboland, maybe their fears could be a fallout of the civil war.
no their fears are from recent difficulty they have raced from trying to get land there or run a business there......when these many people say the same thing about you at some point you have to check yourself.......this is something our brothers in SE Have refused to do....

Nobody prevented Yoruba from staking a claim anywhere in Igbo land. In fact, I attended secondary school with a Yoruba kid whose mother sold animals for fetish practices in the east. The reality remains that Yoruba cannot prevail against a very competitive and astute Igbo in just about any field.

While I sympathise with our brothers from the Southwest, they need to quit blackmailing Igbos in their attempt to cover their lack of will to adventure and grassroots retail entrepreneurship.

This is exactly what enabled Igbos to dominate Lagos in the way and manner you witness today, and they continue to make inroads into more places in the region. Channel your anger into heading east and staking a claim in the region by beating Igbos in their game on their turf as they did you.

You did not allow Igbos anything. They pushed their agenda through by sheer hard work and painful determination, denying themselves basic luxuries until such a time that they can afford these things without negatively impacting their capital base.

Learn from them if you can.
lol please point to one company that is over 100 years old that is owned or run by am Igbo man? Is it science? Law? Finance? Marketing or politics? Manufacturing? We beat you hands down in all sectors except Trade and sports but we sti have a good showing in those sectors as well......please be careful with this your ego......

Lagos was our capital, and our collective commonwealths mostly from the south-south and southeast regions financed its infrastructure and human development.

Igbos single-handedly developed vast areas of what is Lagos today, and this is evident in their migration and dwell patterns. 30 percent of Igbos in Lagos are landlords, and another 55 percent pay rent to Igbo landlords, besides other ethnic groups, including Yoruba.

Let that sink in.

Transform Oshogbo to another Lagos, and I will lead the campaign to deport all Igbos from Lagos. Until then, we are one Nigeria. We built Lagos to what it is today with all other Nigeria ethnicities, and we will remain and prosper in Lagos, and indeed anywhere in Nigeria.
lol for you mind igbos single handedly built vast arears of Lagos because state government had nothing to do with, ministry of housing and townplanning had nothing to do with, the land owners, surveyors and other stake holders had nothing to do with......you people just moved in and started developing.......well done awon eyan bob the developers....... cheesy grin

There's no free meal for anyone in Lagos, including the Igbo. They paid their dues like everyone else, and then some. Quit crying jor. No one owes you anything. Lagos belongs to all Nigerians. We built it together.

Igbo contribute about half of 5ge Lagos economy. Igbo were not just dashed positions, they earned them. Also the politicians needed vote from their bloc.
Moreover, how many yoruvas live in Anambra and what is their contribution to the development of that state?
It's okay to compare Anambra with Ogun state and the others where Igbos do not constitute as significant numbers as they ate in Lagos.
FACT: Lagos is akin to Abuja. It is not a typical yoruba state. Even the godfather there is not originally from Lagos.

Did you read what you wrote because it does not make sense. Now let me educate you fool. In Nigeria, trade (buying and selling) makes up a larger percent of your GDP than oil and gas and manufacturing. Those so called 2x2 shops are creating more wealth that the multinationals. The problem with you kids is that you only watch movies. You don't know how your world operates. Fool.
Again, go and look up how much your non oil imports are adding to GDP then you would know the contribution of the 2x2 boys to Lagos. I know they don't teach this in school but you can educate yourself.
As far back as 2013, computer village was generating over $2 billion, please verify. That small market in the heart of Ikeja was the most productive area in terms of generating wealth in Ikeja.
Because you don't trade, you have no idea. All of us can't be area boys like you. Some of us needs to produces wealth and pay taxes.
