This was how PDP governors supposedly stood behind Jonathan publicly but worked for Buhari to win secretly, in 2015. Case study was Bagangida Aliyu of Niger state. And unfortunately for him, that rendered his political career moribund.

Jonathan is not a power hungry man, if these men were open about their choice rather than deceive him and sabotage him. Jonathan would not have contested that election, he would have jejely went back to Otueke.

I expect the SE governors and politicians irrespective of their political leanings to play that same card.

Now you are talking. I was wondering why Umahi would act aloof having seen all the political ratmatazz going on in Nigeria. Obi is a quality candidate, and I am happy Umahi could see this, not too late.
