Buhari has post-removed the PMS subsidy, starting from June 2023. However, we are not told if it's total or partial removal. Subsidy is not sustainable.

However, the way forward is to half the subsidy. Then, PMS will sell for over #200 per litre. If the subsidy is totally removed, that government will triple the sufferings of Nigerians.
THE BEST IS TO REMOVE IT ALL COMPLETELY IF WE REALLY WANT A LASTING EASE TO OUR SO CALLED SUFFERINGS. IT IS A BITTER PILL TO SWALLOW BUT THE BEST.

The very big question to ask is " How did we increase petrol price from 86.5 naira in 2015 to as much as N180 per litre now without removing subsidy?"

A good government will first explain this.
When you get a coherent answer please mention me

The disposable income of Nigerians is still very low so removing it totally will be unbearable for many. They can remove it partially by increasing it to 270 to minimize subsidy payment

Yeah, and meanwhile, other poorer African countries, with our problems, pay more for fuel than we do.

The subsidy has to go. No partial removal .....we have been doing that since the 1980's...and Nigerians have not stopped suffering. So, why not remove the whole thing? It makes no sense...except for the corrupt few benefiting from it.

Still too cheap. Petrol ought to be about N500/liter.

My issue is accountability. The road tax on petrol should go to fixing our dismal transportation infrastructure that is practically non existent.

Come and beat me, I’m at Casa Ava grin

With constant power supply in the whole country, from urban to rural , who give a Bleep if petrol is sold for 800/liter?

Just fuel up ur car or vehicles, then move on but the problem here is that, 90% of Nigerians needs pms to survive

Because nnpc is not transparent, if they can declare the actual pms produced daily I dare you fuel price will not be Upto #150,000 per liter presently even if the alleged so called subsidy is removed.
Remove corruption from NNPP first before you talk of removing subsidy. Integrity is the foundation and the development step of every nation.
