Like all communist governments to ever exist, the Chinese Communist Party lies a lot and has a way of changing the goal posts and redefining everything to suits its ego . Take for example the CCP's claim of having lifted over 500 million Chinese above the poverty line. Well, according to the CCP anyone earning more than $150 annually is above the poverty benchmark. This is far lower than the UN poverty benchmark of people living under $2 per day. Another example is how the CCP keeps inflating IQ scores of it's citizens while only sampling the very best of the best students and how widespread examination malpractices isn't frowned upon in China but is rather a norm that has become elevated to CCP backed hackers actively stealing intellectual property and passing it as theirs. In the area of the Chinese economy itself, the CCP followed an aggressive real estate boom towards growing the GDP. On paper, China is a boom town for housing developments but the harsh reality is that most of the high rise apartments that sprang up in the middle of nowhere are empty as the average Chinese can not afford the 10% down payment this has seen the Chinrse booming construction sector actually experiencing the mother of all bubbles with major investment firms in the sector not able to meet international and local payments to their investors. When you even consider the unbridled corruption that plagues the housing sector where contractors cut corners and go for dangerously cheap substitute materials , owning any of these glitzy apartments is outright dangerous as China is home to housing collapses. Every STATs from the CCP should be taken with a truck load of salt. Yes they have made tremendous economic and financial gains compared to where they were these last 20-30ys, but remember that the average Chinese used to eat pork meat once a year on special holidays. This is a country that experienced an avoidable man made famine during the 60's when Mao brought about his Great Leap Forward agenda. Over 60million Chinese peasants starved to death and this occurred during peacetime and when the global economy was booming. The CCP did what they know how to do best by doubling down and tripling harvest figures despite the whole country starving. Rather than seek international aid, Chairman Mao rather preferred to pull out fake statistics and put so much effort to deny that China was facing a famine. Since then, nothing has changed. Yes, the Chinese are far better but it comes with a hefty price as both labour rights and the environment are not given any consideration by the CCP as it strives to become the world's number 1 industrialized nation and largest economy. The average Chinese factory worker labours long arduous hours in very dangerous settings or is in a concentration camp or prison slaving away. The slave labour industry is critical to China's economic model as slave workers in concentration camps or prisons are used in very dangerous activities like handling toxic materials or in mines with no safety measures. Without this disposable source of cheap human labour, the entire Chinese economy will collapse. This is the model Peter Obi loves to cite and hopes to replicate in Nigeria. As I have always said, communism is extreme capitalism with the likes of Xi being the supreme corporate head of a slaving plantation. All capitalists seek to lower costs in production and maximize profits and thrive to have a dominant marker share or monopoly. Is this not what communist govts like the CCP are doing where labour is dirt cheap, the environment is not a factor and all profits trickle back to corporate HQ aka CCP treasury? Already we know Peter Obi pays his staff poorly and like a typical Anambra trader, the environment is inconsequential . If you have been to Aba or Onitsha you will see how this model works very well with slave like labour in the form of unpaid apprenticeship and a total neglect of the environment which sees places like Onitsha and Aba being the most polluted and dirtiest cities in Nigeria if not Africa. |

post=116379937:Onitsha has the poorest air quality in Nigeria even far worse than heavily dense Lagos. The entire place reeks of shit and piss and there is always a cloud of smoke rising over the heaps of garbage around the market. This makes Onitsha the least livable city in Nigeria. Lastly, I am not from the SW . |

Even your Obi has his permanent address in Lagos . why did he leave his Onitsha to come down to Lagos? . Make we hear word |

post=116380040:My friend , I know Onitsha very well. I used to stay in Asaba for a project and had go across the Niger (as Asaba people refer to you guys) to get supplies. That place is highly polluted and has criminals loitering every where. Onitsha is the worst place to live in Nigeria after Aba. |

OP, what you did up there is called pure magic. From The Chinese Communist Party in far away China to Anambra State in Nigeria, without any single link, connection or relationship... wow! To me, this is pure sleight of hand, and it deserves an applause! |

tctrills:A model based in slavery and outright lies that benefits only the very high ups in the CCP and western capitalist investors. That model is a 21st century Jewish slave plantation model. But knowing how you people will not mind being slaves to Judas as you have always been since the slave trade era, I am not surprised one bit. |

This op knows nothing about China. If not for Trump,by now China would have taken over everywhere. Just like some one pointed out above,I wish Obi or any other president can recreate the Chinese model. |

AyePappy:Stop talking nonsense. Are you saying all the Chinese Nationals who are building your railways, your power stations, mining your minerals are not having good lives but are only working for the CCP. Even in the oil industry, most IOCs now prefer Chinese rigs. |
