christistruth01:If you cannot understand the English, please ask someone to interprete it to you in your local dialect. 1. Obi is the candidate of the Labour Party. The law addresses POLITICAL PARTIES and not the candidates. 2. Obi has a campaign organization, just like other candidates. 3. A CAMPAIGN ORGANIZATION is not a POLITICAL PARTY. 4. A campaign organization can receive funds as long as they are not for illegitimate proposes. 5. All the candidates will receive funds from the diaspora. That includes your BAT. 6. I hope you understand this simplified version. Cheers. |

Sorry. But this Diaspora Nigerians dey try ooo. Do you notice that $150M is #90B. The structure don't set ooo. Obi is our President. |

This lawyer should not cause trouble for Obi o. Let's not even get that conversation started. The simple fact here is that as a Nigerian living abroad I can chose to donate my money to Obi and send the money to him via my naija account. Case solved! Abi will the constitution stop me from using my naija account? So no need to worry. All the Nigerians in diaspora have naira accounts in Nigeria and even if my oyibo friend want to contribute to the course, we will change the dollars, pounds and euros to naira and transfer it to my account and I will send it to the Obi campaign and show my friends transaction proofs that their money got to the hands of the campaign. Oya na, come and arrest me ![]() |

christistruth01:Was Buhari disqualified because of Diaspora remittances in support of his presidency. If not what makes Peter Obi different if not hypocrisy?

Instead of APC to continue destroying lives in the name of any alleged plans to rig 2023, instead, out of two things, ONE must happen. It's either We Take Back This Country or... EnofIsEnof |

seunmsg:Does Peter obi and Labour party have the same bank account. Think wisely. The money will not be paid into thin air. You can only proof if the money was for Labour Party if it was paid into the party's bank account. |

vicshub:Your understanding of law is very shallow. You don’t give a law just literal meaning, you also look at the intention of the drafters of the law. What exactly is the intention of those that drafted the particular section of the constitution banning donation of foreign funds to a political party? Will allowing candidates of political parties free access to foreign funds not defeat the intention of that section of the constitution? Is there any sense in banning foreign donations to political parties and allowing foreign donations to candidates of same political parties? |

seunmsg:As in, this as to be one of the dumbest shit to ever come out of lawyers mouth ![]() According to the lawyer a vote for Peter Obi differs from a vote for Labour party Is Peter ObI recognize by INEC as an individual or via Party, no be LP go appear on the ballot paper, besides election campaigns are organized & run by political parties, can the lawyer in his right senses tell his kids Peter obi will run a parallel campaign from LP campaign to avoid funds mix up ![]() Tbh so far the Obedient are a disgrace to the intellectuals, from obi himself down to his supporters they talk without processing. very funny |
