Anyone that suits your preferences.
Personally, l use passfolio a lot.
Because l can buy my favourite crypto also in addition to the stocks.
I am not familiar with Trove interface , but l hear it is very good like Bamboo too.
In addition to buying stocks, & trading stocks ( large depositors only .trading on passfolio not for $100 total stock only. They have a minimum to delve into trading ), One can buy Bitcoin, sand , Etherum and other crypto on Passfolio unlike Bamboo. That's why l personally like passfolio a lot. Stocks & crypto packaged in one app.
But Bamboo tho, recently added some crypto ETF .
for those who want to play on crypto space And add to their wallet or Trade.
I am not familiar with Trove interface, tho as passfolio and Bamboo serves all my personal needs.
So maybe sb familiar with Trove can highlight his favourite things about Trove, better.

What about etoro bro?

All my previous deposits to buy stocks on Bamboo or stocks & crypto on Passfolio, l used bank deposit /transfer on my bank app from a bank account bearing my name.Thats how l credited my passfolio and Bamboo and the cash reflected on the app within working hours week days.

At ATM MasterCard or Visa or verve, dunno which is best sha.someone already told ya sth about MasterCard ATM. Generally, if you can carry out online transactions with your ATM & receive OTP to validate transactions on phone, it should go through.
Are you saying I could deposit to my passsfolio portfolio using naira bank transfer?

Yes na. Deposit naira, simply upload the e-receipt from bank app or physical teller showing naira amount, it will reflect and The dollar equivalent amount will be credited to your passfolio stocks wallet. From there, one can even transfer to passfolio crypto wallet for those playing with crypto on the app.
They also have telegram group just like bamboo for attending to customer complaints.
Robust customer support.

Yeah you need to check em out .forgot to add all stocks and cryptos on passfolio are to be added to wallet for hodl-ing.one can sell off & withdraw anytime in the future or the present to bank account with just a click but $100 total investor on passfolio is not allowed to delve into margin trading . passfolio has minimum account balance for stock/ETF margin trading --- should be about 2k or so. you can download all and check out the pros & cons. DYOR.
You seem to know a lot about stocks. Which stocks do you recommend I buy? I want to compare with what I got from Born2conquer.

Depends on the date you are carrying out your transaction, and exchange rate displayed for the day. So you can download bamboo, passfolio and even trove to check exchange rate quotations for the day.
All the stocks in my passfolio and Bamboo wallet were bought between December 2021 and January 2022. The naira should be weaker now from the exchange rates l used on those dates.

ETFs are a good place to start if you are very very conservative and averse to taking too much risks on any individual stock. So that if one stock in the ETF bundle is doing bad for example, another doing well can ensure you stay profitable. "SPDR S & p 500" ( S & P 500 has the standard acronym SPDR SPY S & P on passfolio, check stocks & crypto ETF session. sth similar easily located with the acronym VOO Vanguard S & P 500 and SPY S & P listed on invest bamboo ) , and "Nasdaq" ( locate Nasdaq 100 on stocks app with symbols like Invesco QQQ series l ), are very very good ETFs to buy. S & P 500 and Nasdaq are excellent ETFs' that have stood the test of Time and consists of shares from the major/ top leaders in their industry.

Some stocks among the American BIG FIVE IT companies like Apple , also pay out dividends quarterly to all shares holders, even if it's just a fractional shares owned. Alongside a well performing non dividends paying stocks, You might want to add at least one or two Dividends paying stocks to your portfolio.

Listen to Born2conquer. seems more experienced than me in the stocks thingy. You can also follow Bamboo official page on Instagram to watch out for very good stock suggestions. Also financialjennifer on IG dey try too. And try following news on the financial market to stay updated about trends . DYOR

I just got in last year. I am into tech in my work/ professional field of specialization, so l am very very obsessed with Tech stocks and leaders & pacesetters in the industry across all tech disruptions & innovation fields; biotechnology/ medicine, telecoms, Green energy, Cloud computing, Artificial intelligence etc.
As for me, l own just Tesla stocks and another EV on my portfolio for now. Might diversify into some Ecommerce techie stocks when more buoyant, and you can be sure it's Amazon stocks gonna be adding straight up.
During COVID, lotta pipl bought Pfizer stocks and added to their portfolios, shares from award winning top pharmaceuticals/Bio-tech labs globally reputed to be industry leaders in research & development of COVID vaccine.
DYOR.

African businesses favour majority shareholders on the board of directors and cofounders with majority stakes. One can see good returns overtime if buying a fraction of the business directly from cofounder who wants to sell off all or a percentage of his stake.

Their public offering is just crap and opaque.
Even if their business market capitalization ramps up tomorrow, somehow, lmillion naira spent on shares in year 2000 Will still be lmillion naira in year 2022, 22years later grin when Amazon, Tesla and bitcoin investors who invested same amount, are wealthier. That is if you are even lucky sef to realize the lmillion naira on the yeye naija stocks back especially their very yeye rubbish bank shares with yeye dividends.

$1 equals 700naira,, & falling nonstop. a few years from now, say 15years ,$1 will be around 1500naira and beyond. 400naira naija stocks in 2016 say it even appreciated to 700naira in 2022, you are still on $1. If it’s 500naira 2022, you are poorer than $1 .
It’s a pitiable situation. Sha

Profit for long term hodlers is virtually non-existent most of the time for ngn stocks. For a stock to be profitable in Nigeria over a 5 yr timeline, it must rise by at least 3x from where you bought it. I say this , based on calculating inflation at 21 percent for each of the five years. Toh, how many Nigerian stocks do that well for that long? The best way to play Nigerian stocks like one of my ogas told me is to enter quickly and exit within a few months. For ngn banking stocks, within a 2 yr timeline, if you time ya entry right, you can double ya money. Fbnh for instance moved from 3 naira in April 2016 to 14 naira on Jan 2018.
Ngn market, with our inflation right now, favours traders more than hodlers EXCEPT if the person bought okomu oil, ucap, presco, vitafoam or betaglass in 2016 or 2020. In its entirety, there are not more than twelve stocks that have been in an overall uptrend since 2016. All the banking stocks are in some form of range-bound markets. You'd be surprised to know that not even Dangote cement or Dangote flour outperformed okomu oil or any of the companies i listed over these last 6 yrs. Dangote companies also trade in a RANGE. I have attached pics of the chart of some of the companies i listed below.

N/B : Right now is a bad time to buy okomu oil or any of the stocks i listed in the post. The global recession will take its toll on even the best of companies-- so the plan is to wait for any of these listed companies to drop by at least 50 percent then dca from then. NFA. DYOR

Satoshistreetbets calls out Squid grow for being a scam

Squid game was a crypto project which rode on the popular squid game tv series to scam thousands of investors of their money.

According to the technology website Gizmodo. Squid game developers rug pulled the project and made off with an estimated $3.38m (£2.48m).

Now, another project inspired by Squid game is now in the news, it is called Squid grow. The developer of Squid grow claims he is a Shiba Inu billionaire, the famous Shiba Inu whale, who was worth billions after investing 8 thousand dollars.

In a series of tweets, the founder of the famous Reddit crypto group Satoshistreetbets, called out the developer of squid grow for faking his status as a Shiba Inu billionaire and manipulating the transaction volume of Squid grow to deceive investors.

At the height of the false publicity by squid grow developer, squid grow was trading at its highest price of $0.00000004922, after he was called out by Satoshistreetbets, the price of the project fell to $0.000000008052 as shown on CMC.

Investing in Crypto or Trading remains a risky business . The attendant risk is even higher when employing leverages in trading and one is to manage that risk accordingly. Only put money you don’t need urgently or can afford to lose into the crypto market . NFA.

And when crypto breaks out of consolidation, it can either break up going higher or break down going lower.

Yes we expect the merger to bring a Rally up of Etherum ETH to 2k levels potentially . But be careful out there & use good risk management. if trading, trade cautiously especially when using leverage Etherum ETH is forming a bearish flag pattern on weekly chart.

Powell’s is also likely to hike interest rates higher in next upcoming Fed meeting this September and this could greatly impact the crypto market inclusive.

Etherum ETH merger from POWork to Proof of stake is pushing migration of some proof of work miners to Etherum classic ETC which is still on Proof of work. This migration of miners is helping ETC to rally up . Up 200% since June.
