Am not saying man city don't score goals before haaland. Last season, man city was playing free flowing football with no serious point man. McAtee scored about 4 goals against our Reserves last season. I had PTSD for a few days. He also wired Arsenal. Wired Chelsea. But he is more of a midfielder. Left footed and plays like Silva in midfield (Bernardo or David take your pick). Palmer plays like Silva on the wing (Bernardo or David take your pick).

The thing is Pep's senior team is so stacked that youth players rarely get adequate opportunity. Even Foden that was a major youth terrorist had to wait patiently for his turn.

It's the same simplistic argument some man united fans use to analyze Man united situation last season by saying Man united would have been in a regulation scrap without Ronaldo's 18 league goals, as if it's ghost that's been scoring for the team before Ronaldo's arrival.

They forgot that Man city scores at least 80 league goals each for the past 3 seasons without a striker.

The difference with Pep and Ole was that Pep as a world class coach made Halaand goal scoring work for the team's progress without causing collective harm to the team, while Ole couldn't make Ronaldo goal scoring work to the team's progress.

Guy I don't like the way you argue like this. They bought him to score, what will happen if he get injured.
