That Barca team with Xavi and Iniesta in the middle only needed a good short passes giver like Busquets and Jorginho with minimum defensive duties to face as opponents were mostly subdued, defending in their halves. The moment Xavi and Iniesta left, Busquets was getting exposed getting his defence battered in Ucl, while his fans were giving flimsy age excuse. Those that Barca brought couldn't do those collect and pass thing like Busquets that's why they couldn't dislodge him. There's a reason Fraudiola was also interested in Jorginho as he knows how to do those short passes for the rest of the team to destroy the opposition.

Prime Busquets in Chelsea team won't survive 1 season as he will be targeted weekly and like Jorginho he will quake.

Valdes was hyped and we were telling people that it was the Barca team shielding him as he was facing limited attacks from oppositions. When he arrogantly and mistakenly came to Man UTD, the rest is history.

Jorginho has never been a player comfortable under pressure. So it’s very easy for teams to exploit him. Eddie Howe was the first manager to see this. Put Bournemouth players on Jorginho, and he collapsed like a pack of cards cause he had no clue what to do when players pressed him. This was killed Sarri cause he was too stubborn to play out without Jorginho.

Busquet on the other hand even without Xavi and Iniesta, is still a key player benching Rodri at Spain. Besides targeting Busquet in his prime was useless cause he will always beat that press.

Busquet without Xavi and Iniesta reached Euro semi final last year and won 2015 champions league with Rakitic benching Xavi and an already declining Iniesta. He has excelled in that DM and have redefined the role in such a way that in the modern game, managers now also look for players that have that technical ability, not just physicality.

He’s a terrible manager and difficult to work with, he lacks man management and communication, the sack is justified. He should get out!!

he may be a poor manager especially in terms of player transfers but that shouldn't take anything away from the fact that when he is in the game he is a great coach and tactician, one of the best tactitians in the world but sadly has a bad relationship with his bosses and those above him but usually has a good relationships with his players

I don't see it like a download but a continuous of a pattern that started fr Sarri, Lampard to Tuchel. Graham looks like a 60% win kinda of manager. I don't know what luck or magic wand he is gonna to use but with a long contract I believe both the team and staff would put in the necessary work.
