Good evening dearest reader, here’s the latest news ooo, Ubisoft has officially unveiled Assassin's Creed Mirage to be the next Assassin’s Creed game following the leak earlier today.

Details about a new Assassin's Creed game first leaked earlier this year, in February when Bloomberg reported that Ubisoft was working on a smaller, stealth-focused Assassin's Creed game alongside its bigger Assassin's Creed Infinity project (likely an online game of some kind). The other day, another leaker purported to reveal that this second upcoming Assassin's Creed game will be called Assassin's Creed Mirage. Now we know that's true as Ubisoft confirmed the leak today with an image posted to Twitter from the publisher "Assassin's Creed Mirage is the next Assassin's Creed game."

Very little details is known about this game but we can safely say that it is set in Baghdad and stars Basim In Ishaq (aka Loki), and probably did start as Valhalla DLC, before Ubisoft decided to make it a standalone title.

We’ll just have to wait over a week until “Ubisoft Forward”, the livestream
event where the proper Assassin's Creed Mirage
reveal is scheduled to take place. That's happening
on Saturday, September 10.

TEKKEN 8 would soon be upon us!

Announced at Sony's most recent State of Play, an in-engine trailer showed a few of its fighters in a heated battle in the rain. While it was only announced for PlayStation 5 during the showcase, it has since been confirmed for Xbox Series X|S and PC through Steam as well.

Yakuza's 2014 spinoff game “Ryu ga Gotoku Ishin” is getting released for the first time outside of Japan with a full remake titled “Like a Dragon: Ishin”, Sony revealed at the September 13 State of Play. This remake will be the first RGG Studio game to be built on Unreal Engine 4.

Ishin brings familiar and new characters to 1860s Kyo, a fictional version of Kyoto that explores the end of the samurai era. Yakuza protagonist Kazuma Kiryu takes on the role of Sakamoto Ryoma, a man proficient with swords, guns, and summoning a tiger to attack enemies (though the real historical figure Kiryu plays in this game may not have been well-versed in that last part). As with other games in the franchise, Like a Dragon: Ishin will also feature minigames and Heat Actions for combat.


Unlike the game announced above, Like a Dragon: Ishin is coming to PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X and S, Xbox One, and PC globally in February 2023

NEW STREET FIGHTER 6 NEWS!

Capcom has unveiled a ton of new details about Street Fighter 6 including character customisation and the return of Ken, Blanka, Dhalsim, and E. Honda.

Revealed during the publisher’s Tokyo Game Show presentation, Capcom didn't waste time in flashing through a quick gameplay reel of all four of the new (returning) fighters.

Character customisation was also shown off, with a ton of different options available to players to change their appearance - from cheek bulge to jaw length to eyelash colour and lots more - plus update their outfit by visiting clothing stories in-game.

This customisable avatar will be the player's main character who travels the world battling fighting masters to become stronger and stronger. There even appears to be some player choice here, as you can seemingly choose which fighters you learn from, whether it be Blanka or Ryu or whoever else, and gain skills specific to them.

A handful of modes were confirmed for Street Fighter 6 too, including a brand new one called Extreme Battle. It appears to add even more customisation as players can choose any rules, gimmicks, and battle requirements they like to create a unique fighting experience tailored to them.

The Battle Hub is another new addition. Walking around in what appears to be a connected online space akin to The Tower in Destiny, players can sit down and play a game of Street Fighter within Street Fighter. Also a new addition to Street Fighter 6, Scrap Heap mode lets players beat up an old truck - and that appears to be it.

During yesterday’s Capcom Showcase at the Tokyo Game Show 2022, Capcom announced Resident Evil Village Gold Edition. It has already been announced the upcoming DLC for the game coming in October, but the Gold Edition will offer everything for new players.

* New footage showing off Ethan Winter’s animations in the third person mode was also showcased, as this will now be an option in the expansion. the fact that Resident Evil village, like Resident Evil 7 was in First Person Mode (you can’t see the full body of the character, only the hand) was a lil bit of a turn off for me, na why I haven’t played them, but now with the release of the Gold Edition, I’ll be able to see the full body of my character, man I can’t wait!

* The Mercenaries Additional Orders:
Mercenaries Mode has been a mainstay side-mode for multiple Resident Evil games, but many fans saw the Resident Evil Village Mercenaries Mode version to be lacking. Now, Capcom is looking to bolster the Mercenaries Mode of their latest Resident Evil title, to try to change that impression. Based on Capcom’s official descriptions, Resident Evil Village Mercenaries Mode will be getting these two new playable characters:

Lady Dimitrescu looms large over enemies in this action-packed mode, where she brings her nine-foot stature to bear against any Lycans or other foes unfortunate enough to cross her path. In combat, Lady Dimitrescu builds a Thrill meter by slicing adversaries to ribbons with her razor-sharp talons. This allows her to perform special actions like slamming down hostiles or summoning her daughters.

Lord Karl Heisenberg possesses his own electrifying powers. Equipped with a massive hammer and the ability to manipulate magnetic currents, Heisenberg can really put a charge into his attacks. The terrifying creations from Heisenberg’s factory, Soldat Jets, also join him in the fray – but be mindful not to get caught in the crossfire of their self-destructive assaults. Heisenberg can also trade off movement speed to see what enemies are made of by pulling them in with his magnetic field or put on a show everyone can enjoy by slinging scrap metal, like saw blades, their way.

Chris Redfield also S.T.A.R.S. in “The Mercenaries Additional Orders.” The legendary BSAA agent packs a serious straight punch that can not only get him out of situations where he’s stuck between a rock and a hard place, but it also builds up his Onslaught gauge in a hurry as well. When Onslaught is active, Chris moves and reloads with lightning speed. Chris can also request support from the Hound Wolf Squad by using his target locator to pinpoint enemy positions and call in support strikes.

* Players will also be provided the story “Shadows of Rose” DLC which takes place 16 years after the events of Resident Evil Village.

* A Mac version (M1 and M2 versions of MacBook Air and Pros) of Resident Evil Village is also on the way.

* Capcom also confirmed a Resident Evil Showcase in October which will show off more of the remake of Resident Evil 4. They initially wanted it to be a PS5 exclusive, man I’m so happy they’ve reversed this decision and are gonna port the remake to PS4 as well! You know what that means abi? Activision and Infinity Ward have revealed a number of new features coming to multiplayer in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2, including a third-person playlist and a 3v3 Raid mode.

While Modern Warfare 2 will primarily be a first-person shooter, there will be “third person playlists” designed to offer “a new tactical way to play multiplayer”. Third person perspective offers a much larger field of view and thus better vision of your surroundings, something that could be a big change for COD’s classic multiplayer.

Call of Duty self wanna follow their footsteps in their multiplayer modes, it’s optional though, but I really appreciate their inclusion of it, gives varieties for players like us, I just wished they added it into the campaign mode though (like Ghost Recon Wildlands) e for sweet pass!
