Oga , I am currently living in Minna so I know what I am saying. If not for the University of Technology , Minna , the town would be worse than a hamlet . In fact, Zungeru is more developed that this rubbish town called Minna ...only Bida self can compete with Minna and may even win.

That's not correct. Dutse is far finer than many state capitals like Jalingo, Lokoja, Gusau, Abakaliki, Ekiti etc. Oga go and travel far and wide before you give answers laidis

I think you're not sure of what you're saying. And despite the fact that several posters have corrected you, you're still bent on carrying on.

Have you been to Gusau, Birnin Kebbi, Yenegoa, Abakaliki?

If you haven't traveled to these capitals, and if you're being sincere with yourself, you can't honestly call Minna the worst capital in Nigeria and continue to argue it blindly.

Minna is a small town: fact. Minna does not have commercial activities: fact. But Minna has some of the best city roads and drainage systems. Minna streets are almost always lighted. Minna has supermarkets, lounges and sporting centres and hangout spots. Of course you can't compare the number of the things I mentioned with other big cities, but Minna is definitely not the worst capital in Nigeria. It's not even among the worst.

That a state capital is small and does not have an abundance of commercial activities does not make it the worst.

I ignored the guy because of his childish sentiment. The guy is childish. If minna is bad then obviously every state capital in the North is bad excluding kano and maybe Kaduna.

Minna is at per with Kaduna at the level of development. What I think the state lacks is good leadership. Because no one will compare a hardworking governor like elrufai to that incompetent Niger state governor.

If you tell me that there isn't enough commercial activities going on in Minna compare to kaduna/kano that's when I won't even argue with you.

When I want some quiet time, Minna or Ilorin are the places I usually go just because of the peaceful scenery.

Minna is better than Lokoja, Ado Ekiti, it is in the league of Awka, Abeokuta

I have been to 17 state capitals and Lokoja is surely the worst.

Poor development and the atmosphere is naturally UGLY and unconducive.

You are dreaming and hallucinating at the same time. Minna has no bloody commercial activity to even call it a state capital let alone have the infrastructure to be considered as one. If not for FUT-Minna and the college of education, that town will be no better than a forest region surrounded by wildlife

Are you aware that Minna is a nucleated settlement? From Chanchaga to Maikunkele, the whole town is on one f**king line ...making it look as if it came from Usman Danfodio's era

Lokoja looks like a local government headquarters. From Ganaja to Felele through Ibrahim Taiwo is just a slum town. Half of the residents don't have toilets in their houses and they make use of River Niger for defecation.

The town can be very hot too with extreme humidity. I lived there in 2011 during my service year and it felt like hell. Mount Patti was the only nice thing about the town.

That guy is a clown. It is cuz of the university that the place even a bit lively. Minna is the most boring capital in Nigeria

What are the first two largest towns in Edo state..i personally belive Uromi is more developed than Ekpoma. Or I’m I wrong
