I think you are right. Obiano's projects particularly the Anambra international airport, Awka international convention centre, flyovers, etc, have brought out the hidden beast and envy of these people.

These are the same people that would have been ridiculing Anambra right now had it been that Obiano wasn't brave enough to deliver on this important projects. Today, Anambra international airport is the busiest and best airport in the region. Awka international convention centre is equally the biggest and best convention facility in the region.

I so much believe that Soludo would do even more than Obiano has done. Anambra shall continue to be the light of the nation.

Those things you listed can never be classified as development. Those low standard building won’t see five years. It’s almost one year past and Willies ICC is already looking like a disaster

Once you cross Amansea to Enugu state the difference is clear. Bad roads has destroyed Enugu state. Anambra is truly the light of the nation.

Onitsha has overtaken enugu and all the SE cities. Obiano embarked on meaningful projects like the international airport, international convention, flyovers, bridges, roads, etc, today Anambra is the most developed state in igboland. Anambra international airport has reduced enugu airport to an ordinary motorpark. That's why you are always bitter and envious. Go and tell your useless governor to dualize Nike Road and demolish that disjointed unplanned tiny flyover there. Enugu has sunk worse than Aba.

XerXers:

Go and reconstruct Atani road. It can even be dualized. A lady fell off from Keke inside potpoto around Rainbow hotel due to bad road. Continue fooling around with empty chest beating. Aba has over taken Onitsha in inner city roads and waste management

Hahaha

The only reason you are pained is because Anambra has left your backward useless worthless shithole poverty infested enugu state 200yrs backward.

Today, Anambra has not just the best roads, but also the best airport which is the international gateway to the Eastern Nigeria. Anambra now has the best international convention centre in igboland. Anambra has beautiful flyovers all over our beautiful cities, unlike enugu that just got its first disjointed, unplanned, substandard flyover in 2022.

Enugu is the poverty capital of Southern Nigeria. Enugu state leaders should develop the state and stop clanish politics. Today even ebonyi has overtaken enugu state.

Potopoto and dilapidated roads are all over enugu but Ugwuanyi was busy building one useless unnecessary flyover.

XerXers:

Flyover and convention center are white elephant projects. Mention one important event at Awka ICC, front of the ICC is unpassable potopoto filled road. Money wasted on unnecessary flyover could have extended reconstruction of the expressway to the boarder. Make una de learn prioritization of projects

I entered enugu from 9th mile , the road was completely messed up with huge dilapidated portions stretching more than 20miles. That road needs dualisation and road interchange at 9th mile. But Ugwuanyi has wasted almost 8yrs with nothing to show.

As I was passing through Ogbete towards ogui road, I noticed that the deadly huge mountains of refuse dumpsites are increasing more and stretching towards old park and stench coming from there can cause cancer. Ugwuanyi has wasted almost 8yrs with nothing to show, roads in Enugu are now worse than Aba. Even sanitation is now better in aba than enugu

XerXers:
I noticed that the mountain of refuse dump which oozes a killer stench along obodoukwu road has reduced, but didn't disappear completely. Soludo, if you or your aides are following this thread, you can do better. And huge refuse dump is gathering along the highway, an eyesore defacing the beautifully constructed urban highway

You are right. Onitsha is an international city and the most important city in igboland

AmericanQuarter:

Onitsha 2nd Niger bridge has placed Onitsha as a major international city, because there will be easy accessibility to the city via two major 10 lanes superhighways(1st and 2nd Niger bridges), water transportation and an international airport just 15mins to Anambra international airport.

SOLUDO FLAGS OFF OVER SIXTY THREE KILOMETERS OF ROAD TO MARK SIX MONTHS IN OFFICE ON SATURDAY

Anambra State Governor, Professor Charles Chukwuma Soludo will flag-off over sixty three kilometers of roads across the state this Saturday.

Governor Soludo dropped the hint during the commissioning ceremony of a 1.7 kilometer road, built by Chief Val Onwumelu in Umuoji, Idemili North Local Government Area.

Governor Soludo who was pleased with the community reaffirmed again that the best way to develop the state is through Public Community Private Partnership, (PCPP), not through government funding alone

He emphasised that this is the kind of thing we should be mainstreaming in Anambra State, which every comminity should emulate

Speaking further, he recalled the Neni model which the Governor described as the Anambra spirit, explaining that when the people of Neni started it, Chief Tonimas of blessed memory took up the challenge and ended up tarring about 18 kilometers of road, with some other equally good spirited individuals joining with additional 6 kms of roads

"The Tonimas experience is an example. Umuoji and Anambra, if you know the much you can do, please do. We have come to celebrate that community spirit that distinguishes Anambra from the rest. I promised Ndi Anambra that there will be a difference, that I will account for the limited resources, to affect the poorest of the poor and downtrodden. We have entered 'ember' months and Anambra will become a massive construction site. As for the Inland door road, we declare state of emergency on it. I've told the Commissioner for Works that this week, they must begin to mobilize there. Whatever is needed to mobilize, we will provide".

The Governor in a related development also flagged off the rehabilitation of the popular Mmili John road, Ojoto, in Idemili South Local Government Area of the State

Speaking at the occasion, Governor Soludo said, "We have come to break a long standing jinx at the famous Mmili John where whenever it rains, the flood occupies the road, such that commuters can differentiate the river from
the road. The solution is here. We have come and the Mmili John problem will be done with."

"The first time we came to Idemili was at Oba, to flag-off the building of the concentrated drug center. The next is this Mmili John. We were told that it may cut at any time. I thank Ojoto people for all they have done for themselves. I have said it many times that Anambra will develop through the PCPP model we are mainstreaming. The private capital will develop Anambra. That's why we are mainstreaming and promoting the Neni model". The Governor reiterated

Speaking on government street lights, Governor Soludo noted that the street light project is not sustainable because of the cost of diesel, explaining that his administration is gradually converting them back to solar, afterwhich they will begin new ones within the availability of funds

The Commissioner for Works Engr. Ifeanyi Okoma said that the Umuoji road is 450 meters 2 spurs and well asphalted, explaining that to solve the issue in Mmili John road, the contractor will dredge 500 meters of the river, by the left and right sides, desilt the culvert and widen the river-flow. He equally affirmed that the contractor have assured that the project will be completed in six weeks time.

Even water is supplied to Enugu from Anambra state. Tell your governor to fix your roads and provide portable drinking water. Enugu has sunk, no chest beating can save you.

Everything is step by step: You will recall that Soludo met an empty account when he assumed office after the incompetent drunkard sunken our state into debt.

Obiano never addressed most of the important projects that needed serious attention.

1. Eke Awka was not touched.
2.Nnewi was completely abandoned
3. That Anam-Mmiatta road...a major economic road was abandoned.
4. Onicha was abandoned

Imagine if Obiano had the same passion and dedication Peter Obi had by now Anambra would be such a lovely place to visit. But we had a weakling who wasted 8yrs and the only thing he achieved was to liquidate Peter Obi's savings to hurriedly build an airport and ICC. Without Obi's savings Obiano would have ended up achieving nothing!

The few projects Obiano built was mostly sited in his region, and this shows how nepotistic he was. During Obi we had no issues of nepotism but Obiano introduced it and almost divided Anambra. But as you can see Soludo is reintroducing that Anambra oneness spirit of onye aghana nwanne: most of the projects Soludo just commissioned are not in his senatorial zone, they are mostly situated in Anambra north and central.

Therefore, i say let's be patient and give the man some time. A lot of studies were carried out before these roads were awarded. Soludo is a man that works with a plan. You shouldn't just start building roads out of sentiments. You must pay attention to roads that will stimulate economic activities.

For instance, he is trying to partner Kogi in building that road that will make traveling to Abuja by road from Anambra 3hours. That's a very important roads.

Eke Awka , which we expect Obiano to clean up was abandoned and now Soludo had to deal with it. Obiano was a big mistake!

This road is under the watch of the governor but we have even more important projects and no money. If Obiano had invested the over 150 billion Obi saved into infrastructures we wouldn't be discussing bad roads in Anambra, today.

I have taken time to study all the projects Soludo is starting with and the choice of these projects indicates a man who knows what he want and where he is headed to.

The roads are:
1) Obodo-Owerri Rd 5.77km
2) Oguagu- Ik Onuorah-Anumudu-Mgbuka- Amazu-Owerri Rd -2.97km
3) Edeh Road-School rd-Awalite - Ojoto-Owerri rd 1.48km
4) School rd- umuobom Street-Ojoto Street Junction -0.58km
5) Umuobom st (Ojoto st Junction-Adazi ani st- Owerri Rd- 0.77km
6) Umenweke st (Obodoukwu Junction)-Umeojiakor st ( School Rd Junction)-0.58km
7) Awaited (Ojoto Junction)-Anumudu (Mgbuka Amazu Junction)0.99km
8- Uzii st- Mission st (Awaited Junction) 0.54km

Completion of these roads in Okpoko with a recreational center or a township mini stadium will bring hope, joy and progress to Okpoko and Anambra.

He also added that efforts are on top gear to facilitate the completion of the federal road linking Anambra to Kogi and Abuja via Umueze Anam in Anambra West. The federal road if completed will take road travelers less than 4hrs from Anambra to Abuja.

If Kogi state agrees to partner Anambra on this project traveling to Abuja will take less than 4 hours. This is a very important economic federal road.

Read his speech here. Anambra west , Ogbaru and Awka north are the poorest and most neglected local government councils in the state. These places should have been touched by now but when you have an incompetent drunkard who is controlled by his agbero wife you will have lapses in development.

"What we have come for today, is the promise we made to you. Let me say this very important thing. When I ran for governorship, there were three local governments I transversed, and the images I saw kept haunting me."

"These local governments are; Ogbaru, Anambra West and Awka North. I couldn't believe that there were still places like this in Anambra. I made up my mind that these Council Areas would feel the impact of government. The rainy season is almost over.
Every local government would feel our impact." Governor Soludo said

"We must give life to the population in Okpoko, because they are also part of Anambra. We are conducting a study on how to provide water in Okpoko. Okpoko will rise. We will move together." Governor Soludo reassured

"We are looking for a space for General Hospital. We are also looking for a recreational ground within Okpoko. Life will come here." Soludo further said

Oseloka Obaze was gonna replace Obi but he didn't have a voters card and that will disqualify him.

Soludo also contested in the primaries but Obi ignored him because at the time there were stories making rounds that Soludo had some case with EFCC. Secondly, Soludo was a new entrant into the party and has not familiarized himself with the party hierarchy. The other candidates were political jobbers who were broke.

It was this circumstance that pushed Obi to contact Obiano who was a successful banker and a wealthy man. Well, that would turn out to be Obi's biggest mistake and regret as a public servant.

Recently, Obi recapped Obiano's failure in his speech when he said " the person who was there liquidated my savings because they couldn't save any money for the state", we know he was talking about the incompetent Obiano.

Oseloka Obaze would have done even better than Obi because he was the brain behind Obi's success. Obaze has vast experience with United Nations where he worked in many third world countries. In fact , ANIDS was Obaze 's idea.

Soludo is doing well because Obiano brought him to continue from where he stopped and not asking him for 7 billion like Peter Obi did with Obiano and spreading fake stories about leaving 75 billion behind, that is why Soludo is concentrating and doing well.
We wish Obiano was the one that took over from ngige, by now Anambra would be number one state in Nigeria today. No project built by peter obi was better than projects in any state in Nigeria but Obiano's ICC, Airport, Stadium, flyovers were all better than its equivalents in all states in Nigeria.
Anambra wasted 8 years with Peter Obi.

Why has Obaze not contested any other position in the state since 2017 defeat to test his popularity.
