I’m an indigene of Kogi state and I reside in Lokoja, I grew up in delta(Efurun), did secondary school in Zaria, University in Minna, IT at Sokoto, Nysc at Calabar, now masters at Bayero University, Kano, I have traveled almost round Nigeria, less than 10 states that I haven’t passed through... Lokoja is the worst state Capital

I have been to 17 state capitals and Lokoja is surely the worst.

Poor development and the atmosphere is naturally UGLY and unconducive.

Oga , I am currently living in Minna so I know what I am saying. If not for the University of Technology , Minna , the town would be worse than a hamlet . In fact, Zungeru is more developed that this rubbish town called Minna ...only Bida self can compete with Minna and may even win.

6 years ago is a long time for massive development to happen, when the governor knows what is he doing. I remembered traveling to one southern state after 3 years, I was shocked with the kind of structures, roads etc I had to ask. Am I really in the right state capital?

I give the trophy to Lokoja. Nothing there, just rocks all over with one straight bad road that connects to Abuja.. my place Agbor looks like Dubai compared to that shit hole.

Mr Biggs is in tunga not the outskirts of chanchaga, sey na you run am down? you don't even know the town.
Yesterday night I was bored then I stepped out, went to Ben jamaa to relax, see men chilling, same thing is happening in honey bell, alovera hotels etc. even Muslim men drinking alcohol and having a good time yet you call the town a helmet or dead end.
If you keep living in that village called maikunkela and farming in gidan kwanu you will keep complaining about Minna.

Economically, Enugu is not among top
My top 7 economically are

1. Lagos

2. Kano

3. Ph

4. Abuja

5. Onitsha

6. Benin city

7. I would still smuggle Asaba before Enugu. Don't underestimate Asaba, its proximity to onitsha is an advantage

Calabar and Uyo are mere aesthetics, they have no economic value. Infacts the only three cities in the south of Nigeria that can stand or defeat Benin city economically are Lagos conveniently, Onitsha and Ph arguably. Benin is about twice the population of Enugu and it would knock out Enugu anytime anyday

First off, Onitsha isn’t a state capital, neither is Abuja.

Secondly only a man with a false agenda would put Asaba city before Enugu, I’ve been to both, and although ENUGU AS A STATE is nowhere compared to Delta state, Enugu (the city) is ahead of Asaba… once more I’ve lived in both, and even when I schooled in anambra I often spend days and weeks in both, Asaba isn’t a bad city by any standard but Enugu is better, it’s more open, has better road networks, has more upscale neighborhoods and is larger. What Asaba is mainly Nnebisi road and a few other nice places.

FFS when did Asaba even get a shoprite?
