Ekong
Onyekuru

These 3 should not be on this list but good luck to them

Wetin do Aribo ?
If Onyeka and ekong shouldn't be there then uzoho and Okoye shouldn't be there too

What is quality about being a bench warmer?
The Belgian league isn't a back water league and Club Brugge are one of the best there...They can beat Brentford that Onyeka plays for..

Wasn't Iheanacho dropped from the team when he was warming the bench at Leicester for other players in lesser leagues?
Onyeka isn't even an established player in the team .. His invitation ahead of Alhassan makes no sense...

The Belgium league is a backwater league and if Onyeka was there, he would tear it up. I will always take Quality over quantity. Anyway, I think both of them deserves a call up considering that we listed 10 forwards

This list wear cinch belt...

Onyekuru is a surprised inclusion..his slot should have been given to a midfielder though. Even Peter olayinka or Yira Sor woukd have been a better idea.

I'm surprised Aribo missed out and I'm not surprised at the same time.

As for the defence and goalkeeping, may God help us. The only positive there is the return of Akpors.

Josh Maja will look to add to his 7G+A (4G, 3A) in 8 league games for Girondins Bordeaux as they take on Dijon in Matchday 9 of Ligue 2 Action.

A win will take them back to the top of the table for now.

Game on in 27mins.

His slot should have been used to invite a midfielder instead... It's one game and we have Chukwueze, Simon, Lookman and Musa to man the wings...

Very strong reason, bro, you're doing well.

Franklin Tebo Uchenna, 22y/o CB formerly of Nassarawa Utd starts his first league game for Swedish Allsvenskan league leaders, BK Hacken vs Hammarby IF in Matchday 23 of the 2022 Allsvenskan season.

Game on in 10mins.

Last season (2021), played 5 league games all from the bench.

This season, he's played 6 league games (all from the bench) and 2 Cup games (both starts). He has 1 assist from the cup games.

Bonus: Came off the bench in that "Mexico 4-0 Nigeria" game that featured a predominantly home-based Eagles side last year in July.

The squad list

Please, no one should blame Samuel Chukwueze and Moses Simon, if they fail to perform. They don't normally do well with midfield of this kind.

The good thing about this midfield, is that all the personnel listed, favour forward passes of the ball, and are very adventurous.

I will pay good attention to how he sets up this team, and to how he composes play.

Quality over Quantity Epl vs Belgium league. How doesn’t it make sense. The both of them deserves a call up considering that we have 10 forwards listed

I like onyeka but he doesn’t deserve to be there okay

Leave all these epl and Belgian league comparisons

Yea, I know. Just that I have always hold the notion that friendly should be used to scout for options the fill the holes in the squad and backups. Up till now, we can't pinpoint a single player considered as Ndidi's backup. We see how that partially cost us in the Ghana double header. Reason why I put Onyedika. If Onyedika put up a good showing, then we already have our guy !

When you are confused about your many forward options, and continue the trend of letting the midfield dept suffer for that.
Call that building a team? Let the experiment continue

Familiarity towards Awaziem might equally be informing his preference for Akpoguma. People always prefer to try new things while looking down on the things they are used to.
As things stand, i will prefer Awaziem to Akpoguma.

The Belgian league is ranked 9th in Europe..That's hardly backwater... A few seasons ago, Onyeka was playing in the Danish league thats ranked lower than Belgium's...Why didnt he tear it apart there??

Marvin Ekpiteta starts for Blackpool as usual away at Millwall in the Championship.

Rumored to have been invited before the official list today showed that he wasn't.

The Blackpool Skipper has started all 9 games for his side before today. This will be his 10th league start of 22/23.

Game on in 10mins.

Awazeim has earned his spot in the national team ..Maybe not as a starter, but definitely a squad player.. He has mostly delivered when he plays..

What will you say us keeping your pal Okoye in the team now? He is a bench warmer in the championship after all and hasn't shown any indication of securing his spot in the team ..

I really want him to fight for a place. Balogun and Ekong will soon be excused based on different reasons though. That leaves us with 4 CBs in Akpors, Bassey,Semi and Awaziem. I wouldn't bank on the four right now.
