Incorrect.... partner and main applicant need police clearance, children no. Then everyone needs TB.

Thank you

Hello,
I applied As a dependent together with my wife, she got her cos and everything, she did her police report but I was told I won’t be needing a police report since I’m not the MA, few days after our biometric at TLS I received a mail to send additional document and that is the police report.
Please is a police report and English proficiency Necessary for a tier 2 dependent visa ?

Why would you take them say them say .... when you should check the guidelines and following it word by word. The guidelines clearly states the adult dependent also needs police report

If I were you. I would immediately book police report tonight and be at their office on Monday to capture. Without police report it is rejection and you wasted your application fee...better hurry .lol

But why will you do Tb test when you are not certain of COS?? Who does that
Some employer will want to see your TB test result before applying for your CoS.

Hello house, my question is to those on this thread that have gone through all the process. I did my biometric on the 23rd of August. Since it's assisted service my employer is the one that paid for everything and updating me. Got a mail from my employer on the 4th of this month September with an attachment they received from UKVI that say congratulations my application has been successfully for a 5 years visa for starting from September 1st of this month. The problem is now today is 13th and I'm yet to receive any further communication from UKVI to pick up my passport with the vignette. Those who have idea should please let me know if it takes this long for pickup after letter of approval.

It is normal. Many people have similar experience. They recieve successful decision letter before their application moves from DMC to VAC. The letter just informs you that a positive decision has been made on your application. However you still have to wait the normal duration for your application to move to VAC and to recieve collection mail. Some get the letter attached to their visa or as a mail before or after movement to VAC. No worries

Ok, after join a regulatory body, what next? Please help a sister ooo.

The process is not too stringent but the cost implication is high. Also, you will still need to start searching for jobs.

Try Canada PR by evaluating your Bsc Or MSW

OR

Continue trying the UK care assistant and health care jobs. You just have to keep on pushing. Not easy but it's worthwhile.
It will end I praise.

Thank you so much. Although others were of the opinion the money should be in the dependent account so it was a bit confusing...

If the main applicant has left nigeria for the uk not too long ago like a few weeks and the apllication is solely for the dependants...it will be better for the money to be in dependants account and coumt a fresh 28days ...there are some cases where some ECO deny visas on the grounds of recycling funds, especially if its the same nigerian account that was used previously by the main apllicant for his or her application

..but if you are all in nigeria and doing the apllocation together ..then the money should be in the account of the main apllicant

Never use them say them say . .....

The official guidelines should be the only thing that matters ... It states you or your partner meaning you can use either . Read the link below, and be careful of recycling funds

Hello, is there a rule against having the required funds for family work visa application in the partner's bank account. We are all applying together.

There is no rule against having the required funds in the partner's bank account...its just a suggestion...i'll explain and i hope you get it.....

If you are all applying together...the money can be in either main apllicant's or partner/ spouse account as per husband and wife naaa..if all goes well..u will all get your visa ....amen....

But there is a reason people suggest that its best for the money to be in the main apllicant's account...the reason is ...incase something goes wrong...... which is not unheard of with UK visa applications

for example .....I saw a case once that the money was in the dependent's account..... the yeye ECO denied the husband and wife on the grounds that they couldnt prove their marriage or the marriage was an arrangeee (and it was)

Now .usually in this case...the main apllicant was supposed to get the visa while the spouse denied ........but because the spouse had the money in the account....it was concluded by the ECO that the husband wont have access to the funds in the uK since the ECO is trying to establish the marriage or civil partnership may not be real.........

Faster- just a myth
Refuse- YES. Any visa category can be refused if the ECO reviewing the individual application have doubts.

Family of 6 losing that money is no joke so while its possible and ok to apply together. You must just make sure you understand the requirements and the guidelines and follow it to the letter . If unsure of any part, ask before the application. I see some people asking after application.... that one na one chance medicine after death

If any applicant don't have one of the requirements then the whole visa can be refused

Alright, but what of in a case where by the Main applicant the wife(a Nurse) and the dependent the husband have Joint Account,is it advisable for them to use such account statement to apply for Health and Care visa?
