Sin against the Holy Spirit is sin against the Will of The Father! Heaven and earth shall pass away but His word shall stand. Whatever you do cannot alter The Will of God - The Holy Spirit. Shall not be forgiven; meaning the adamantine justice will run its course regardless of who or what is involved.

What in the world are you rambling on about now? undecided

What has my warmth to do with that which is the Truth of God? Are you somehow under some delusion that you can change the facts by some show of these emotional warmth you harp on? undecided

The Inner warmth you need in these matters has nothing to do with “emotion” which is actually connected to your intellect derived from your perishable brain. It has more to do with your “Intuition” which is your God-given faculty needed to assess spiritual things…..that’s the first lesson people like you need to learn. It is not about reading a Book which you claim contains facts…..you still need to use your Intuition to de-cipher those things you call facts. That’s your biggest hurdle!
For instance, the book tells you that the Creator, during Creation worked for six days and rested on the seventh day…..how far can you get with that information without employing your Intuition? Not very far unless you wish to continue deceiving yourself!
The Book you claim contains facts is a “Book with Seven Seals” ….it’s not meant to be read like you’re preparing for exam….employ your Intuition! cool cool

When people pass over, how do you think they perceive things when their brain is already buried 6ft below ground?
The Intuitive faculty is the faculty of the Soul which resides within you even while you’re alive and walking the Earth! We’re supposed to practise utilising it even while still alive to be conversant with its usage. Otherwise the Soul of that individual is said to be asleep! cool cool

You are still not making any sense to me. If I gave you a book on a topic like gardening, would you resort to spewing this type of gibberish at me? undecided

Why do you folks think that because it is a book about God, that automagically, it is ok to try to insert all forms of gibberish rather than stick to just that actually stated in the book? undecided

A sin against the Holy spirit.

Simply means a sin against the laws of God.

The Holy spirit represents Justice.

What you sow is what you reap

A book on gardening is a product of the writer’s brain whereby he employed his intellect to produce something which can also be grasped with the intellect by other readers!
The Book you’re talking about is a spiritual book containing Revealed Knowledge which deals with prescriptions that can ultimately lead to the spiritual ascent of the individual’s Soul. It therefore must be grasped spiritually with the Intuition. The difference between the two types of books is massive and they should therefore never be mixed up!!

To unwillingly disobey means you do not know the word of God. Like an unbeliever. But how can you claim your disobedience is unwillingly when you understand the word of God. So if a Christian lies, is that unwillingly disobedience?

As for 5he definition of iniquity; immoral or grossly unfair behaviour.

You still don't get it.

One can have the knowledge of stealing as sin and still indulge in it, hoping on God's grace this will full sin. when one practices sin or delights in sin that is called inquity in this cases the Holyspirit is grieved and it is called the unforgivable sin.

You are not making a clear point. Are you saying that when one sins hoping on God's grace, that is a sin against the HolyGhost? Because all Christians sin, hoping God would forgive. Also, for anyone to commit sin, it means the person delights in sin unless the person is forced. For example, a young man that steals his parent's money is that a sin against the HolyGhost because the young man would not do it if he does not delight in it?

First of all I want to say there's no sin that's unforgiveable, the price for sin was fully paid for on the cross, your past, and the present, and future sin have been taken care of. So understand that.
Now for the passage mark 3:28...that talks about blasphemy against the Holyspirit a sin that won't be forgiven. This statement was made by Jesus and that was b4 the cross.
Something happened that made Jesus to make that statement he healed a man and the people tagged it an art of using the power of belzebub spirit. So Jesus told them, when you take works of God and attribute it to the devil you've sinned against the holy spirit and such won't be forgiven.
... Remember that statement was made befor the cross. After the cross the demand for justice was met with his blood on the cross.
So what that means. There's no sin that Jesus has not paid for.
God bless you all.

It simply cant be absolutely true.

You know it is True! Your mother and father and teachers showed you.

And the society even shows it is True by always telling us to "go and apologize to that person" or "go and beg that person to forgive you".

What if -
1. They don't forgive you even when you are genuinely contrite.
2. They are unavailable - for example, dead.

Are you then permanently screwed?

Because the Holy Spirit is the Will of God, the Living Law that finds expression in the sowing and reaping that we find in nature. It ensures that every action generates a reaction, what one sows that one must reap, karma or whatever you may call it. The Laws that govern the Universe are the works of the Holy Spirit.

1) Hmm! Is all I can say. For it is their exclusive right to either grant you mercy and forgiveness or withhold it from you.

2) Here you are talking about the death of a human being. Forgiveness here is obtainable for a human being has an Oga (God), who he must obey and God too can cancel/overide his failure/inability to forgive.

But this is absent in the case of The Holy Spirit, so wahala dey for person wey go fall inside this hole!

For example, a young man that steals his parent's money is that a sin against the HolyGhost because the young man would not do it if he does not delight in it?

You are complicating something that is simple.

Committing sin is not the issue but continuing in sin becos of grace is unforgivable sin.

Romans 6:1 What shall we say then? Shall we continue in sin, that grace may abound? Romans 6:15 What then? shall we sin, because we are not under the law, but under grace? God forbid.

There is difference between willful sin and non willful sin.
Example when Peter denied Jesus b4 the 3 cock crow, that was an unwilliful sin, most christains and born again at times fall into this kind of sin, the fact remains that ppl who commit this kind of sin are remorseful and feel guilt and seek God's mercy and forgiveness, another example is David and his sin of Audeltry.

1 John 2:1 My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye sin not. And if any man sin, we have an advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

But when one lives in inquity or commits the unforgivable sin against the Holy spirit, the person no longer fears God, neither is the person remorseful about his or her sin, such ppl delightfully indulge in sin they defend or try to rationalise the reason behind them committing that sin rather than humble themselves and accept their sinfulness.

They contend with God if possible they try to guilt God.

Such ones, God has given them to reprobate mind.

Romans 1:28 And even as they did not like to retain God in their knowledge, God gave them over to a reprobate mind, to do those things which are not convenient;

2 Corinthians 13:5 Examine yourselves, whether ye be in the faith; prove your own selves. Know ye not your own selves, how that Jesus Christ is in you, except ye be reprobates?

2 Timothy 3:8 Now as Jannes and Jambres withstood Moses, so do these also resist the truth: men of corrupt minds, reprobate concerning the faith.

Titus 1:16 They profess that they know God; but in works they deny him, being abominable, and disobedient, and unto every good work reprobate.

If you cannot understand this explanation don't quote me again.

This point is even more reasonable for a 'story'

Exactly what I was trying to point out... There were series of events/principles leading to that Statement... And the statement itself is a confirmation of differing principles;
Whoever sins shall be forgiven/shall not be forgiven.... BY WHO ?

The statement is like an open cheque... Because other places you have forgiveness.. it's usually attributed to characters..like father, blood, son of man, Jesus son of David etc

This is more reasonable and I think for a Christian your teaching is unbiblical. The bible teaches that God has the sole prerogative of forgiveness of sins.

But this is absent in the case of The Holy Spirit, so wahala dey for person wey go fall inside this hole!

I don't think this so called blasphemy against the Holy Spirit has a clear definition.

Why is God God? He's God because there's no sin He can't forgive. If then there's a sin that even God don't have the power to forgive, then, God is not God.

The Holy Spirit is the Spirit of God, He's one with and in God. Hence, any sin against Him is as well against God. Trinity, yet one.

Which means, any sin against the Holy Spirit is forgivable.

The mercy of God is infinitude. Even the sins of the whole world if put into it will be swallowed and it traces you won't see again.

What I'm saying is, there's no sin that God doesn't have the power to forgive.
BUT

in my study of this verse & some others, i came to a conclusion that: if there's any sin that is not forgiven, it is a sin that you committed and you refuse to ask for it's forgiveness...

I rest my case.
