This is a fraudulent way of looking at stats. Eriksen played 38 games in 14/15 and he didn’t take a single direct free kick.

Now an amateur like you would might say how can a player play 38 games without scoring a free kick but he must take one before he can score one.

We don’t know how many FKs Payet attempted in those 595 games. Unless you do, it’s a flawed way of looking at their ability as a set piece taker.

I bet you know this already but the stats have conspired so much against you that you are just throwing everything in the air. The last one was the funniest, pressure from team mates.

With my statistics, Payet has played more free kicks and scored less despite facing farmers all through his career.

How many direct free kicks has Payet taken? You don’t know. You don’t know how many direct free kicks Eriksen has taken but you want to compare career stats?

If you can find a credible sports site that can tell how many direct FKs that was attempted by Payet to the ratio of how many scored, then we can have an argument but I am not even sure that argument would have a leg to stand on cos you have said before now that Ligue 1 is a farmer’s league.

I have provided the PL stats of both players in the same season and you quickly made a U-turn that it was Eriksen’s worst season. Is it Payet’s fault that Eriksen had a terrible season or you think a witch doctor told Payet to quickly go to West Ham in 2015 because it was going to be Eriksen’s worst performance?
